My first ever Airbnb, and I booked it for my 50th with my family; I was so happy with the house, and the family loved it; underfloor heating was brilliant, we had clean towels, and the rooms were spot on. I would recommend it, and it definitely made me want to use Airbnb again. Now I also go to the pub in the village, Little Walk Wild Goose. The food, the drinks, and the staff were amazing. All the locals were so welcoming and we walked dogs every day views were amazing

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming property! The house was incredibly spacious and had such a quirky, unique character that made it stand out. The beautiful surroundings were a dream, providing a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our host was fantastic—extremely welcoming and attentive, always responding promptly to any questions we had. The area was perfect for long, relaxing walks and soaking in the tranquility. We had a fantastic week, the house was perfect for our family, the rooms were huge and the location and views were stunning. There's so many lovely places to visit within a short drive. I couldn't recommend the house and hosts highly enough.

We had such a lovely time staying at Sandra's! We were a couple with a 1 year old and thought the space was perfect for the three of us. We really appreciated the travel cot provided, and our daughter loved the baby swing in the garden. We couldn't get enough of the beautiful views, and the space with the fireplace was so cosy for a cold winter's stay! Sandra was a great host, very welcoming and helpful, and the recommendations for places to eat were spot on. We'd very happily come back, as it was the perfect location for visiting Exeter, Totnes, and Buckfastleigh!

The Woodshed was absolutely stunning and exceeded expectations, fabulous log burner and decor within beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Don't give it a second thought...stay here!!

Myself and four friends enjoyed a relaxing weekend in the beautiful cottage. The hot tub was ready on arrival and the extra hot tub towels were appreciated. Everything you would expect was available, and lots more besides. The beds and furnishings were very comfortable and everything was spotless. Don’t hesitate to book!

We absolutely loved our stay! The place was even better than described—so cosy and well-equipped. The jacuzzi was just amazing, with a beautiful view that made it extra special. We had such a wonderful time and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

I CAN NOT EXPRESS HOW KIND & GENUINE THESE PEOPLE ARE, THE CARAVAN IS PERFECT IT HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEED, IN BEAUTIFUL SURROUNDINGS, A STUNNING HOT TUB WHICH IS BEAUTIFUL IN THE EVENINGS AS THE SKY IS SO CLEAR, WE WENT HERE FOR A 40TH BIRTHDAY, WAITING THERE WAS A BEAUTIFUL CAKE & ALSO BREAD, MILK, WELSH CAKES.... SO THOUGHTFUL. THE LADY SHOWED US AROUND THE VAN QUICKLY & THEN LEFT US TO IT FOR THE WEEKEND, WE LOVED THIS PLACE AND THE PEOPLE WHO RAN IT AND WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK. THE LITTLE GIRL WAS VERY HELPFUL & HELPED US FEED THE ALPACAS & TOLD US ALOT ABOUT THEM AND EVEN TOLD US ALL OF THEIR NAMES (THERE ARE LOTS) SHE IS FULL OF LOCAL KNOWLEDGE & AND VERY KIND AND SWEET, THIS IS A FAMILY RUN PLACE AND EVERYONE OF THEM ARE LOVELLY AND CAN NOT DO ENOUGH FOR YOU. We cannot recommend Snap Mill Barn highly enough. The hosts have thought of everything and it is beautifully furnished to a very high standard. Sue and Steve met us when we arrived and explained everything that we needed to know. We had no problems during our stay, but it’s reassuring that they are right next door if you need them. The location is perfect if you are looking for a peaceful stay and there are some beautiful walks and pubs nearby – our dog felt very at home, there were even treats for the dog! We stayed at the barn while our house was being renovated, and it was a perfect escape from the building work. We were sad to leave. Thanks Sue and Steve from Jacquie and Andy 😊

We needed somewhere to stay for a few months as our house was going through the conveyancing process. The Annex at Maple Cottage was a fantastic temporary home. Dorothy and Ian were excellent hosts; always available but never intrusive. The Annex was well furnished and supplied. Always warm,, superb TV and great internet. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Our romantic stay at this Airbnb was incredible! The attention to detail and thoughtful amenities, including the little treats in the fridge, made it feel so special. Dinner at The Red Lion was fantastic—highly recommended—but we’d skip the other local pub. Honestly, the accommodation was so gorgeous we were more than happy to just soak it all in. And relax in the hot tub. Tracy was lovely and so accommodating! Thank you for making us feel so welcome and for the early check in and late check out. We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to come back!

Helen’s place is cozy and very well equipped, ideal for a comfortable and calm stay. The pictures don’t do it justice. The hosts live just next door, but were very respectful of our privacy and were very responsive to any of our queries. The jacuzzi was a lovely bonus, and we truly appreciated the warm welcome with homemade sourdough, fresh farm eggs, and cider. A wonderful stay—we’d love to return!

Lovely cabin stay, very spacious and amazing views. Only a short drive to different beach walks and seaside towns. The hosts were so helpful and set up our wood fired hot tub for us both nights! Amazing weekend trip.

My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer. I needed to be in the area for work and so only stayed one night and arrived late. The hut was an ideal place to unwind after a busy day and long drive and despite being below zero outside the stove kept me warm and toasty throughout the night. I feel very fortunate to have discovered Ruth’s hut and look forward to my next visit.

Wow !!! What a great place !! 6 of us stayed 3 nights in Dec 2024. Great location. Pub 10 mins walk away. Sheep, fields, stone walls, wildlife. We saw a few hawks. Warm and cosy. Lots of room. Great kitchen. Great living room upstairs with log fire. Escape from people and hole yourself up there or walk down to the pub and socialize. The decision is yours. We’ll be back. A Great Place.

We were so happy with this accommodation. A true home from home, spotlessly clean, warm and very comfortable. It was a lovely social place for our two families to come together along with our dogs. They enjoyed the dog safe garden and we enjoyed new walks with our furry friends. Thank you Andrea.

A little piece of paradise! Beautiful interior and spotlessly clean with a sumptuous bed and comfy sofa. The private garden and hot tub were so peaceful, we spent many hours over the two days soaking away, listening to the countryside and chatting and drinking. Clare was so responsive and helpful, we most definitely will book again, a real gem of an Airbnb. Could live there forever! The Holt pub just down the road was perfect for lunch, and Worcester was 20 minutes away, great for mooching, restaurants and a lovely little city vibe. Clare, thank you so much for sharing and for your attention to detail, loved, loved, loved it!

Big family Christmas get together and I couldn’t have wished for a better place to spend it! Tracy met us at Hollycroft and gave us a tour - it’s bigger and even more beautiful than the photos. Everything was spotless, warm and welcoming. We filled the huge fridge with our food stash but luckily there is a spare one in the utility which was perfect. So much space to run riot (kids!), relax, have time out or just all be together in the huge living room with the log fire and the beautiful country kitchen. Bedrooms are gorgeous and comfy. Showers are hot and powerful. Super soft towels, pristine bedding and even logs for the fire all included. Loads to do - dress up box, games, pool and ping pong tables, DVD’s… Outside there is loads of space to walk and explore, large ponds, rowing boat and ducks! We had so much fun and cooked lovely food (kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need). The kids absolutely loved it. Supermarket close by. Perfect in every way! Thank you Tracy

Just returned from a lovely stay in this barn. Beautiful location despite all the rain and wind, still managed to get out and see some local places. Very comfortable accommodation, immaculately clean and a great host, would highly recommend if visiting this area

Had a lovely 2 night stay with a group of friends this weekend for a joint 30th birthday celebrations. Very peaceful, and we enjoyed spending our evenings in the hot tub. Thanks again both!
