All fine besides some smaller issues, such as hot water in one bathroom not working and some heaters/lamps not working.

We enjoyed the space and the tranquility. Lovely detached cozy house outside the village, in a relaxing location, in the middle of forest slopes, meadows with horses and swampy area. A stately building with a soul, with history, full of literature and art - and yet very clean. Spacious bathrooms and nice showers. Contact with owner was pleasant, we were also allowed to use the washing machine although that was actually not the intention. Hamburg was very easy to reach by public transport. A few times an hour there is a train from Elmshorn to Hamburg Hbf

We were there for 2 nights. Everything was a great fit. From arrival to departure, everything was perfect. If we come back in HH, we will be sure to book this place again.
