Le Petit Gîte is a fully self-contained and completely private part of the larger Gîte, thoughtfully designed for comfort and independence. With a bright kitchen/diner and an en-suite wet room, you'll have all you need for a fabulous break. Private patio and heated pool (open from May). Suitable for year-round use and accessible by wheelchair. Also available as a 3-bedroom option (sleeps 8).

Enjoy this fabulous accommodation with your family, where you can expect to have a great time. It has a private garden with a barbecue, table and south-facing sun loungers. Pets welcome. We have space for a family with 2 children. Entire enclosed property. 1/2 hour from the beach and 3/4 of an hour from Le Puy du Fou. La Rochelle is also 3/4 of an hour away. The Mervant Forest and its leisure park are 5 km away. It is 10 km from the Poitevin marsh.

We welcome you to the orangery, a small nest in exposed stones, peaceful, with views of the woods at beautiful sunrises! Lovers of old stones, steeped in history, you've come to the right place! Ideally located, quiet on a one hectare plot, at the entrance of the city of Fontenay-le-Compte, voted most beautiful city in Vendée... You can visit in a week: La Rochelle (50 km), Niort, Marais Poitevin, Vouvant Mervent, Le Puy du Fou, the Futuroscope.

Gîte l'atelier

The workshop cottage is an old carpentry shop fully renovated in 2025. Located on the edge of the Mervent/Vouvant forest massif, and one of the most beautiful villages in France "Vouvant", not to mention less than an hour's drive: Le Puy du Fou, Le Marais Poitevin, La Rochelle, Ile de Ré and the Vendée coast. For fishing enthusiasts, the vacation rental is 5 minutes from two dam lakes renowned for predator fishing.
