We are 3-8 mins to fun seasonal activities (WaterPark, trail rides, slopes, golf, go-karts, etc.); 15 mins to Shenandoah Nat'l Park's Swift Run Gap entry; 18-20 mins to JMU; 5-60+ mins to restaurants, wineries, antiquing, breweries, caves, hiking, biking, history sites, river sports, Amish markets, country drives+++!

"Country Star"- Suite at Cross Keys

Welcome to our private, cozy suite, Country Star. A sunny walkout basement apartment with patio and easy parking next to entrance makes coming and going a breeze. Country Star features a kitchenette, with table and chairs, one bedroom with queen bed and closet, and a full bath/shower. It provides comfortable space for two, with extra space for a pack-n-play or fold out lounge chair/bed for a third person. (See note in 'other'). Our space offers convenience and comfort, with self check-in.

Take it easy at a tranquil getaway on Fauquier County's historic Springs Road. Enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sunset from the deck. Take in the local wineries or some Civil War history. Catch the Gold Cup Races at Great Meadows, or travel to Skyline Drive to hike in the beautiful Blue Ridge. Fresh eggs are available at Whiffletree Farm right down the road. This garden apartment is tucked into a hillside above a creek, along the Jewel Vinsota Sculpture Trail. Your host/gallery curators live upstairs. The “Artist’s Guesthouse” is next door. The private entrance is down a stone-stepped path. Perfect for 2 w/ the queen bed but room for 3 w/ the living room futon. Fully equipped kitchen. Private charcoal grill and fire pit next to the creek.

Guests enjoy stays for tourism, conferences, trainings, the MD Int’l Film Festival, JFK 50, family visits and artist retreats.

Stay in the masterfully crafted Lemuel Chenoweth homestead along the rippling Tygart river. Built in 1857, this 2nd floor suite offers antiques furnishings, a private entrance, master bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and mud room. It has a queen bed, dresser, large porch with views of the river, a clawfoot tub with shower, sink, toilet, and a well stocked farmhouse kitchenette with a double induction cook top, sink , fridge and more. We do not offer a TV. Near Elkins.
