Go to the mountains and highlands during the day, and the tranquility of Satoyama at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. It is recommended for those who want to spend a relaxing time in Azumino, as well as a base for sightseeing in Kamikochi and Hakuba, for stays of one night or more. Convenient access to Hakuba, Kamikochi and Tateyama-Kurobe.We also cater for group travel, family travel and long-term stays.The washing machine and bathroom also have a drying function, so you can stay comfortably even for consecutive nights. You can also come by public transport, but the area is more convenient to have a car. Rent an entire log house on the Iizuna Highlands. Amane Guest House

This is Iizuna Kogen, a quiet villa area at an altitude of about 1,000 m. A simple log house built in 2022 with a strong wood aroma. You can discover many beautiful views within a 10-minute walk. Please be sure to take a look at Mt. Iizuna from Daiza-Hoshi Pond. It's about a 3-minute walk from the nearest bus stop (Iizuna Higashi-ku)! The next closest bus stop (Iizuna Kogen) is about a 7-minute walk away. You can also get here by public transport. Restaurants such as Mori no Eki, Iizuna Soba, ramen, and hamburgers are also within walking distance. About 25 minutes by car from Nagano Station and Zenkoji Temple. About 15 minutes by car to Togakushi Shrine. It is also an ideal base for golf and skiing in the Togakushi, Kurohime, and Myoko areas. Please also use it for climbing the Togakushi Kodo, Amatomi Trail, and Mt. Iizuna. If you would like to visit a hot spring, it is about 15 minutes by car to Tengu no Yakata on Lake Reisenji. For a large public bath, Asobiba is about 5 minutes away by car. There is a discount on the bath fee. We lend out a projector and screen free of charge. You can play games or have a screening party on the big screen. We also recommend relaxing with a barbecue, a campfire, or a tent sauna. Mökki means "cottage" in Finnish. Spend your time in a special place surrounded by nature. 58 square-meter one-room (hall) wooden warehouse structure - The bedding is futons There is a toilet in the accommodation (hall)　 There is no bath, but there is a hot water shower. There are several hot springs about 20 minutes away by car. - WiFi (network environment) available ・ No smoking inside the hall (inside the accommodation facility). There is a smoking table in the garden. There are no restaurants nearby because it is far from the city. Please have dinner before you arrive or bring your food. The kitchen includes water, a gas stove, dishes, pots, and frying pans. There is also a fire pit for barbecuing in the garden. Enjoy the view of Lake Nojiri, with a private sauna, Anoie (あの家)

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter. We are 1080m above sea level, its cool in summer!
