Very nice old building apartment for two to four guests in a historic mill. Perfect for a hiking vacation or relaxation. In a picturesque location, outside the Westerwald town of Hachenburg with its picturesque market square and the open-air museum. Close to Marienstatt Monastery. Located directly on the Westerwaldsteig. Quiet and steeped in history. The first Chancellor of the FRG, Konrad Adenauer, stayed here. A commemorative plaque on the house commemorates his stay.

As guest of the Vicounts of Plettenberg, who have been living here since 1433, you can relax for some quiet days alone, spend a romantic weekend for two at the fireplace or take a family outing. 'IN THE HORSE STABLE' Door to door with chicken and horse

'IN THE STABLE' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the mill property. It used to be a stable.(Also check out my other apartment 'Barn Loft.') The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people looking for a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat with the oven. See below.
