cosy well-equipped village home facing a garden with a large variety of plants, where a well and a garden bench engraved with antique tiles are prominent features. Walking/cycling to the lake or contemplating the starlight skies at night are exhilarating experiences. Ideal for long-term stays for anybody wanting a quiet place to work. Good wi-fi. I live with 2 cats in the studio with the entrance door via the garden which I look after but leave to private use of guests. Other pets are welcome.

Our guesthouse is located in a 10 hectares property with private access to the lake. You are offered a spacious, independent 50 m2 apartment with large windows into the natural and organic landscape and access to a free (shared with owners) pool and parking. The apartment with kitchenette, bathroom and one bedroom is located in a multicultural family house. We are 1.5 km from Mourao city and 2 km from the public sandy beach. You can reach us from 3 different airports: Lisbon, Faro, Seville.

Best months are May/June when the temperatures are perfect and the Spring flowers bountiful in the lush green meadows or in the autumn months of Oct/Nov when the landscapes become green again, just like a second Spring. We have books, maps, poles and binoculars to help you enjoy your walks. In the evenings, relax at this unique and tranquil getaway.
