This was a very quiet, clean, restful place for us to stay prior to and after skiing the Vasaloppet. The place provided everything we needed for a restful stay. The surroundings were beautiful and the neighbors friendly. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and responsive. We enjoyed ourselves immensely!

We spent a few nice days at Philip's place in Siljansnäs and would come back to this beautiful place at any time. The cottage is spacious and very comfortably furnished. The kitchen and bathroom have everything you need and it's wonderful to have breakfast on the porch. In the area you can hike, fish and eat deliciously in Leksand or Mora. Highly recommended!

We had a very nice and relaxing week at Siljan. The children felt right at home and enjoyed the many toys and especially the Lego:) The decor is exceptionally cozy and stylish. We immediately felt very at home. The location of the house overlooking the lake is just great, whether in the morning or evening. Many beautiful excursion destinations were easily accessible by car. We were even bathing despite the cold and had a lot of fun and rest. Thanks for the great time. Alexander and Christina with family

Very nice, spacious and well appointed. The host is very easy to get in touch with and told you the story of Kvarngården in an interesting way.

Winter in Sweden. The house in Gesundaberget was a fine home base for ice skating in Mora and on Lake Orsame, for cross country skiing and skiing. Cross-country skiing around Mora means you are on the trail of the annual Vasaloppet. For Dutch people with their Elfstedentocht skate enthusiasm special to do. But just 500 meters from the house pick up the track was also great. Walking in the snow is possible from the house. Through fresh & deep snow, make a path to the illuminated and snowmobiled snow trail. Wonderful. At full moon a nice trip in the evening. After a day of action, you came to a nice warm house and we could enter the sauna. Also we could cook good meals in the well appointed kitchen. Great! With five adults we had a great time. It was easy to communicate with Pierre. We warmly recommend the house.

Steffie and Veit have realized a very nice authentic apartment in a fantastic location. All necessities are available and willing to help directly with questions. Beds/mattresses are comfy and the nice kitchen is complete.

Highly recommend staying in the Vassbo hotel! Contact with the host was great, Linnea was really helpful.

Been here before many times, and we’ll be back again. 🙂

A nice accommodation with cozy environment, close to beach and walking distance to the city center.

We were looking for a place close to the buses to the start in Sälen and Oxberg and found this nice accommodation a 5-minute walk to the destination in Mora. Large and spacious apartment with all amenities, we were missing nothing. Our hosts were quick to respond and very nice. Thanks for this time!

Staying at Vincent’s house was lovely, he made us feel extremely welcome and helped with local advice and suggestions. Vincent’s place was perfect, in a quiet beautiful area on the lakeside. Not much to do in Grytnäs but an easy bus to catch into central Leksand. Vincent went above and beyond to always help and was great communication for a host. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone thinking about booking

Helene and her husband were incredibly friendly and open. They looked after us as prospective Vasaloppers, albeit it turned out to be a distance from the truth. Magically nice and highly recommend the accommodation and happy to come back with friend or family again.

Very nice little cabin directly on the lake. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to be. Lisen is very helpful and always available. The kitchen is very well equipped. The bathroom has underfloor heating. Electric cars can charge on site. We would book again anytime.

We stayed with family for 5 nights in Henrik's cottage in winter. The landscape is grandiose, please forget your skis or snowshoes (or rent them in Moura). The atmosphere is wild and secluded. The cottage in winter is like in a bivouac where it is necessary to pick up water from the well and light up with candlelight. We were very happy with this experience. We were allowed to spend two wonderful weeks in Daniel's vacation home and were simply thrilled all around. The house is perfect and very modernly furnished and offers everything you need to take care of yourself. The house instructions are very detailed and leave no questions unanswered, Daniel even gives the guest some very helpful recommendations for exploring the area. We enjoyed the quiet location in the middle of the forest and the beautiful lake right next door very much and spent many hours by the campfire - we were even able to admire the northern lights. We can really recommend this place wholeheartedly and will definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay at Anna’s charming house in the beautiful, peaceful surroundings just a few minutes from Rättvik’s centrum by car. She is a warm-hearted host who cares for the well-being of her guests. The house was fully equipped and still had a special atmosphere of old, historical Dalecarlian cottage.
