The apartment is located in the middle of the picturesque lake landscape with free lakeside resorts and great hiking. You can start directly on foot. The train station is also within walking distance. Trains to Aarhus run every 30 minutes. Silkeborg itself offers everything you need. A pretty city with pedestrian zone, a supermarket is 5 minutes from the property. Parking is available in the surrounding streets free of charge (10 minutes to the apartment). Unloading works easily in front of the house. The place is quiet and is equipped with everything you need. Even a casserole dish was available. The apartment is very clean and stylishly furnished. Arrangements and assistance worked smoothly. We will be happy to come back.

When accepting our request, they sent us a detailed map of how to get there. The house they rent is part of their farm, so they are the neighbors. Always very respectful and polite. If you approach them, they respond kindly and helpfully. The place is nice, the house is pleasant, and they are a lovely family. There are animals and nature all around. Everything is clean, tidy and well-stocked. We had an excellent experience. Ideal for families or couples looking to be in contact with nature.

We had a lovely stay at Allan’s place over New Year’s Eve. It was exactly what we wanted. We had family nearby which was within short walking distance and Silkeborg is such a nice town. Allan went above and beyond to help us and was a great host. The apartment was lovely and we were very happy with our stay.

Everything about our stay at Lis’s place was above expectations! Especially waking up to that breathtaking view over the lake! Lis is a fantastic host - had even prepared a surprise welcome gift that was highly appreciated after being on the road for nearly 11 hours and also as we checked in late on our first day in Silkiborg. I will definitely look up this listing again for future travel to Silkiborg!

Excellent stay at Merete and Lars. The house is very clean, very quiet (we were even lucky enough to see deer in the garden). Beautiful walks from the house and highway 10 minutes away if you want to discover the region. I recommend.

A very pretty house surrounded by nature that immediately invites you to feel good. In winter it is already very cozy, in summer it must also be a dream to sit on the beautiful terrace and watch the many birds that come every day. The house is very tastefully decorated and it has everything you need. Really great: we had fresh eggs from our own chickens every morning. We felt very comfortable.

We had some great days at Dennis's place in Ry! A lovely house and associated garden. Our daughter of 2 enjoyed herself immensely in the garden and in the playroom. The house was neat and tidy and the surroundings were lovely and quiet. We highly recommend this house!

We stayed 2 nights in April, a family of 5 with 2 teenagers and a 7 year old. On a trip to experience Aarhus. The apartment is incredibly beautiful, as a neighbor to a beautiful beech forest, on a quiet residential street. The air was filled with birds chirping. You can walk to the city center through the forest in 45 minutes. By car about 10 minutes to Den Gamle By and 20-25 minutes to the city center. Thus relatively central. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated with all the necessities that could be missing, including in the kitchen. Really nice beds. French balconies from all rooms, overlooking the sea and/or forest. We were very well received by Adam and Helena, who were great for instructing and guiding. It was even prepared with drinking, etc. upon arrival. All in all, a lovely stay and can only recommend it to others. We hope to come again, another time!

We felt very comfortable at Lonas place during our time in Aarhus. The apartment has everything you need and more (lots of towels, kitchen utensils, blankets,...). I especially appreciated how clean the apartment was. From there it is an easy walk to the city centre or the public transport. I highly recommend staying at Lonas place.

We had a great stay at Janes apartment. It was very clean, had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. Communication was super easy and Jane was ready to help anytime.

Lovely centrally located apartment. The apartment is as shown in the photos and it was clean and tidy when we arrived. Melike was great at communicating and made sure we could find our way to the car park. If we come to Aarhus another time, we will definitely choose to stay here again.
