Dongchonjae has opened its home by a retired couple and has been operating since October 2020. Guests use 4 rooms, living room (Daecheongmaru), kitchen, 2 bathrooms (inside: shower available, outside: small but showerable), Numaru, and yard. The host lives in Sarangchae and provides breakfast and other services. We remodeled part of the old house, and all the wooden furniture in the accommodation was handmade by my husband who runs a wooden workshop. Originally, it was opened as a home for many people to experience a private space as a furniture showroom and a vacation home for our family. Due to the small nature of the space, we only accommodate a limited number of people. Both the master bedroom and living room are windows facing southwest, so it's pretty when the sunny afternoon sun comes in, but it's a neutro-emotional accommodation with a high humid and dim atmosphere on a rainy day.
