This place is a true gem of Bali. The rice fields, the view of the Agung volcano - it feels absolutely authentic. The much traffic of Ubud stressed me before that, up here it is wonderfully quiet and yet a lively life with lots of activities. If you want to experience the authentic Bali, come here.

Our villa with ocean view was clean and looked as amazing as on the pictures. The staff is very friendly and cooperative. We liked that the hotel is located in a very quiet place, even there is not so much thing to do around. The hotel provide some activities, such cooking class or visiting attractions, we didn’t take any, but other people gave a good feedback about them.

All is good, bike is also very comfort to rent! Thanks

A beautiful place with lovely people who have taken care of our concerns very reliably. The house is very nicely decorated and is located in a tropical garden by the sea. Komang and his family lovingly looked after us. We enjoyed the peace and garden very much. The food can be delivered from a restaurant or there is the possibility to cook for yourself. We will be happy to come back! Thanks for everything!

Made’s place was absolutely perfect! Beautiful and artistically crafted interior and exquisite views of nature. There are hiking trails nearby and the pool is by a flowing stream that produces the most calming sounds. There is a grand tub that could likely accommodate two people, and the air conditioner worked well. He and his family made me feel so welcomed right from the start and are all extremely attentive to your needs and questions. This is a truly place of love and peace. Highly recommended!

An absolute dream! The villa is in the middle of the rice fields – the view is breathtaking and the tranquility is simply heavenly. Everything was super clean and furnished with love for detail. The pool, the open bathroom, the cozy vibe – I immediately felt comfortable. The hosts were always available and very helpful. I will definitely be back – 100% recommend!

It was a wonderful place to stay. Agus, his sister, and their family were very kind and always had warm smiles. Their pet, Nami, was also adorable. The location is about ten minutes from Ubud, and it’s easy to find a bike through Grab or Gojek. There are also delicious restaurants nearby. The accommodation was clean, and the pancakes for breakfast were very tasty. The surroundings were quiet, with only the sounds of nature. I highly recommend this place and would love to visit again.

This place is not just an air B&B or a place to stay. It is a sanctuary! The staff is friendly and accomodating. The ammenities are suitable, but much, much more... this place is magic for your soul. The vision and mission of balancing nature, reclaiming discarded material and giving it a fresh new purpoe is inspirational. This place creates an atmosphere of balance, harmony, peace, nurturing and family. Located north of Ubud, it is perfectly situated on the island... away from the hassle of tourists and traffic, but central enough to be within reach of all the majesty Bali has to offer. We had an incredible stay at The Bagus Lokha – a huge thank you to Adnyana for making it so memorable! The villa was absolutely beautiful, offering plenty of space, and we were thrilled with our private pool, which was much larger than we had anticipated. The view from the pool, overlooking the rice fields, was simply breathtaking. We spent most of our time relaxing on the sun loungers or enjoying the pool. Everything we needed was provided, from bottled water to coffee, towels, shampoo, and shower gels. We also rented a motorbike from them, which was incredibly easy and convenient. It truly made our stay even better!

This was a delightful experience where everything brought us joy. We stayed for 7 days in Villa Norma 3 — it was wonderful. Surprisingly, we have no complaints at all! The place is quiet and full of charm, surrounded by rice fields and just a few local residents. The staff was especially kind, and the service was excellent. We didn’t use the food service, but we did order a Balinese massage at the villa once for my wife, and she really enjoyed it. We’d also like to mention a lovely little lizard with yellow sides that lives near the villa. She’s completely harmless and occasionally comes out to say hello. You can offer her some fruit or avocado as a treat.

Excellent property, great value, very tasty breakfast, super clean, very friendly and polite hosts. I stayed for a month. The pool is very nice with efficient filtration and regular water quality checks, the A/C was perfectly sufficient, the shower had a great pressure, enough hot water, comfortable mattress, sheets and towels were clean and changed regularly. I absolutely recommend.
