Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Sketty

Now, i dont write many reviews. And when i pay for a place to stay in my hometown it always irks me. But Danny's place was different. In a neighbourhood i know well, 15 mins walk from town and 5 minutes from my brothers house, it was perfect. The house was huge, so much bigger than expected, nice and clean but extremely cosy, comfortable sofas and beds, a lovely massive stone floor kitchen, a nice garden, and loads of board games and toys for the kids to play with. I understand that Danny probably gets loads of hikers etc through the place and the maps etc are great for thouse looking for that sort of thing, but for a family just wanting a place to chill while visiting family, my home. It was perfect. Thanks mate

We had a wonderful stay at Christopher’s lovely home!! The house is very spacious and well kept, and we instantly felt comfortable. Christopher was very responsive and helpful, and kindly put up a baby gate for our infant daughter! He and his family also left out some wooden toys our daughter could play with and lent us their high chair. The house has a great yard and is in fabulous area, very family oriented and we loved having Clyne Gardens so close! We would strongly recommend!!

Immaculate home, just as described. Generous host who left us fizz and a lovely welcome goodies basket. Lovely ambience as soon as entering, with gorgeous scented diffusers. Very comfortable beds with quality bed linens. Very well stocked bathroom and kitchen.Felt like a home from home.

We had a fabulous stay here with family ahead of a wedding at Gileston Manor. It was a perfect location, and we had the most enjoyable and relaxing stay. The accommodation gave us all space and time to get ready for a wedding, including a lovely large living area. Ginetta was extremely helpful and responded so quickly to any questions we had. I had a really nice stay at this property. Very spacious and clean, location was excellent for access to the City Centre and Morriston hospital. Would happily stay here again or recommend to anyone visiting Swansea!

Nice host, nice place. What a good 3bed house My boy love his room very much Especially the tv is connected with Netflix Also the prompt response on fixing the toilet light is appreciated. And the host is so nice that suggesting some indoor activities to us due to the rain

The stay was great, there were plenty of extras that werent expected like milk in the fridge and cereals to help ourselves to. Clean, tidy, well maintained. Great offroad parking too. Would recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous setting in a peaceful beautiful part of rural Wales. Lovely to sit by the river and spot otters and birds. The apartment (1of 6 in the Mill) was comfy, warm and very well equipped. We made good use of the hot tub, pool and loved the cool BBQ hut. Christopher was really friendly and welcoming and really knowledgeable about the local area. A great place to stay and explore this part of Wales. Would recommend.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The highlight of the property was definitely the luxurious jacuzzi and the private swimming pool—both were incredibly clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing any time of day. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made sure everything was just right for our stay. The house itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be coming back—highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Loved the Caravan clear instructions as to how to access and gain entry which was useful as we did not realise just how big the site was! It was very clean warm and comfortable also very well equipped. I have to say I did not read the instructions carefully enough and brought no bedding with us. This was resolved via the Reception on the site and for a small deposit we were provided with bedding which was delivered! Deposit returned on return of the bedding so no crisis. Lots of lovely walking from the caravan perfect for the dog. We were visiting friends in the area and would definitely consider coming again.

Lovely little cabin perfect for us, easy 20 minute drive to the beach. lovely fresh towels the pool was amazing. Garden totally enclosed which was ideal for our doggies. Thanks again Emma we will be back

We had a fantastic stay in the Brecon Beacons for the Easter holiday. Clare was a very welcoming host who provided easy to follow directions and a very hospitable welcome including fine cake and prosecco. The accommodation was exactly what we wanted with all the amenities described including gym and hot tub. The home is very well located for walking, it is even possible to walk to Pen y Fan directly from the house! A special thanks to her son-in-law T who was very helpful and enjoyable company!

What a place the Great House is! We were two families with young kids and a dog and it was amazing, plenty of space for us all the kids loved exploring the different rooms at night with a torch! The location was perfect with a short walk to Browns and the new pizza place, which is worth going to. We can’t wait to book again in the summer and make the most of the outdoor pool and walled garden! Thank you for an amazing stay.

What a wonderful stay for New Year's at Tina's property! It is so warm and cozy, with great views in the most peaceful village on the Gower. The beach was a 10-minute walk away and everything on the Gower is within a 20-minute drive. Tina was also a great host, communicating very quickly at all times. HIGHLY recommended.

Really enjoyed our stay. Derek was a great host, friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable on the area with great recommendations. Welcomes with home grown tomatoes and eggs which were delicious. Thank you for having us.

A fabulous short Easter break at Heidi’s home. We had great directions and instructions at the house. The area is great and a short drive from pubs, the beach, shops and some lovely walks. We had great weather so managed to sit outside on the patio area which is a great suntrap. Plenty of seating. Kitchen very well equipped, stair gates, high chairs and travel cots all available and were set out for us. Heidi was extremely responsive on messages. Overall, a fabulous stay!

One of the loveliest places I’ve stayed, such a quaint cottage in beautiful countryside. So peaceful and relaxing, spacious inside. Very dog friendly, appreciated the dog beds, bowls. The separately laundry and outside hose we also very handy for mucky boots and pups! Ideal location for hiking and sight seeing in the Brecons

I stayed with Mike and Bert for two weeks while a house sale went through, I brought with me my high maintenance Bengal cat Kevin Bacon. During our stay Mike has gone out of his way to accommodate us, the accommodation is completely separate and lockable, I felt completely safe, I knew Kevin was secure and didn’t see any red flags. Mike is laid back and approachable, the perfect host. The bed is extremely comfortable and everything I have needed has been included with no extra costs or limitations. Bert is a very good boy and has been trained properly, he doesn’t go upstairs but he will bring you a shoe each time he sees you as a greeting, Bert was completely safe around Kevin when I took Kevin in the garden. There is easy parking at the accommodation and lots to do in the area, lots of walks, castles, stepping stones over rivers, sand dunes, beaches, horse riding and a decent selection of Pubs. If I ever end up homeless again I will be coming back! Thank you.

This place was just gorgeous. The field was so peaceful and beautiful, the fire pit was lovely and the cabin was so cosy. There were lots of lovely little touches and the bed was so comfy. There was plenty of wood to use and useful items like salt and milk. Great kitchen for cooking and our dog loved it. Thank you for a wonderful stay Maria.

Just back from our 3rd or is it 4th visit. Excellent as always. Property is exactly as pictured. Very cosy, welcoming and in pristine condition. The location is perfect, 2 minute walk to Aldi. less than 5 minutes to the main high street. Be aware that if you have mobility issues, the stairs do feel very steep. There are hand rails though, so I find them ok, if not a little unnerving. It doesn't put me off repeatedly staying here, but worth a mention in case it is an important factor for guests. Highly recommend this property, and Victoria is a very helpful, responsive and friendly host. We will be back..... again 😊

Hosted my sister’s hen do here and it was perfect! Had all the amenities we needed (is bigger than the photos make it seem) and Kate was very helpful providing flexible check in and out.

The most wonderful hosts. So easy to communicate and so helpful. We went for a hiking holiday with our dogs and it was perfect. Cosy country get away perfection. Not much around in terms of town and pubs so we relaxed in our home for the weekend and loved it. Thank you!!
