Wir dachten, dass wir in Sandaig ein bisschen Abenteuerurlaub machen. Immerhin kommt man nur mit dem Schiff hin und muss dann noch querfeldein wandern. Es fühlte sich aber an als käme man nach Hause. Bettina und Roland sind super sympathisch, kochen lecker und haben einen fantastischen Ausblick aufs Meer. Wir kommen gerne wieder und bleiben dann länger.

The property is spacious and fully equipped. House was easy to find, check-in was super easy and it was exactly as described. There is sufficient parking on back side of property and a beautifull waterfall nearby. All rooms were clean and sufficient bedding, kitchen fully stocked with all pots, pans and dishes. Extended utility area was useful. Living room has a wood burner which was very cosy and boardgames for kids was also a nice touch Overall we had great stay snd we'd recommend the place yo others as well.

great place to stay near Dunvegan - 5 mins drive, signposted at the junction on the A863. Adequate parking place; easy check-in and check-out. Clean and comfortable room. Nice dining area. Fabulous Scottish breakfast; other options available as well. There's even an honesty bar.

By far the BEST airbnb I’ve ever been too! And in over 10 years of using airbnb, that says a lot. Lawrence and his wife are simply the kindest most welcoming host my partner and I ever met. We truly felt like we were coming home after a long day of travel. I just have one dream now and it’s to go back and for a longer time. If I could give 6 stars out of 5 if I could!

We are just back from a last-minute overnight stay here at Woodlands in Glen Coe and we were blown away with the riverbed by the lake experience. Despite booking at 9pm the night before with a ‘deal’ rate, we were welcomed with such thoughtful and generous extra little touches—bathrobes and slippers, a hot tub pre-heated ready for us to enjoy, and homemade cookies from Amber. The surprise breakfast basket left at our door in the morning had us in ‘awe’ and along with being a lovely end to our mini stay, it was delicious. The riverbed pod felt luxurious, and we fell in love with Glen Coe and Woodlands, during our first ever visit to the area. Though it was our first child-free night in a decade, we’re already planning on returning when we get the chance. Thank you for making our stay feel extra special. Ps. The young gentleman at reception was exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, and full of helpful tips about local sights, dining, and even a free ferry ride.

Fiona and her family were incredible hosts to us. So kind, welcoming, and very helpful. She went above and beyond with breakfast and it was delicious, making our stay one of our most warm and authentic Scottish experiences. They had recommendations on where to eat and even places to visit throughout the rest of our trip, which we listened to and were glad we did! The place was very close and convenient to many Loch Ness points of interest, would definitely stay here again!

Chambre et salle de bain privative très propre avec tout le nécessaire. Très calme. Le petit déjeuner était simple et efficace. Mary répond rapidement au message. Très contente du séjour !

Das Hotel hat eine unglaublich gemütliche Lobby mit Kamin, eine tolle Bar und schöne Bibliothek. Das sieht man auf den Fotos nicht und war daher das absolut beste und überraschendste Plus meines Aufenthalts! Die Leute, die dort arbeiten waren zudem sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das einzige war, dass die Zimmer relativ ringhörig waren, da es ein eher älteres Gebäude ist. Super Abendessen und Frühstück. Würde das Hotel auf jeden Fall empfehlen!
