Holiday rentals with lake access in Skye

We had a wonderful stay at Sharon & Mary’s. The location was absolutely perfect—peaceful, scenic, and just a short walk from the iconic viaduct. The cottage was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Sharon & Mary were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the Highlands! Would definitely come again!

Beautifully presented house in a superb location. Extremely comfortable and very well-equipped. Josephine was a fabulous host, providing us with clear and easy check in instructions, super-quick response times, as well as recommendations locally including where best to see the Northern lights which were forecast (we were very fortunate!). We had a fantastic few nights at "Dail an Fheidh" Elizabeth's cottage. What a beautiful cottage that met everything, the view and waking up among the deer is magical! A supermarket is not around the corner but if you do your shopping in advance or go with the pedestrian walk across it does not matter. After a tip from the host, a delicious pizza was eaten at a brewery at a 15-minute drive. There is plenty to see and do in the area such as Glenfinnan and Loch shiel and the Ben Nevis. A place to relax and enjoy, a place to definitely remember and recommend for everyone!

We LOVED our stay here. As others have said, the views are just incredible every direction you look! It was amazing to watch the sunset looking out to the loch. We walked into Dornie a couple of times and drove over to Skye very easily. Amazing location and sooo beautiful, would not hesitate to recommend or come back ourselves

We hired out lochalsh lodge for a week over Christmas and had a wonderful time, a beautiful house located in stunning surroundings, and Colin was very responsive and helpful from the very beginning. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

This place is absolutely beautiful - we could not fault it. Mark and Tamsin could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The house is lovely, very well equipped and was perfect for my elderly father who has mobility problems. We did not want to leave!

Beautiful house in a beautiful setting. House is much more spacious than the photos suggest. And great views out of the house all round. Warm throughout the house the full trip. Underfloor heating is a joy. Perfect place to get away and just chill. No hassles, traffic or people. And Kimberley was on hand for any help / advice. Would definitely go back.

Might be the best Airbnb I’ve stayed at. Views galore, location surreal, away from all tourists. Was great having a coffee in the morning watching the sheep and baby cows playing in the front!

Great stay at a very family friendly location (great for young children). Very charming location and amazing history if you are into that sort of thing. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. We had one minor hiccup that we resolved very quickly (not at all the host’s fault) and he got back to our inquiry within the half hour. If you are exploring the Great Glen or Loch Ness, I cannot think of a better place to base out of.

We’ve stayed in some very impressive Air B&Bs across the world but this was far and away the most impressive. It was an extraordinary experience staying in the apartment in the old school building. The view from the great windows was breathtaking and everything inside the apartment was so well done - would highly recommend, in fact it’s a Must if coming to Loch Ness & the western Highlands.

Sarah's airbnb was so authentic and unique and beautiful decorated. I loved the feel and style of the airbnb. The surrounding gardens were equally as impressive. I had such a relaxing and peaceful stay! I would definitely stay again when travelling through the highlands!

The place is perfect and Ruarie was very attentive and kind. It took us a little to get to the place as we went at night and the road is somewhat narrow.

What a lovely place! Surrounded by nature, it was the perfect spot to unwind and disconnect. The views from every window were stunning, and the peaceful setting made it easy to relax. The property itself was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Sarah was kind and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and welcoming. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and her warm hospitality really stood out. We’d love to return.

Our second time staying here. On arrival we were greeted by Mike who showed us around. Lovely apartment with views onto the Cloisters. We made use of the amenities onsite, and enjoyed the stunning views and historic location. We had a wonderful stay once again.

Christopher's flat is in a great location, just a short walk to the shops, restaurants and sea front. The flat was spotless and lovely and cosy. I'll definitely book again if it's available the next time I'm working in the area.

We have nothing but wonderful memories to take home from our stay at Obbe View. The house was tidy and equipped with everything we could need, the location was ideal and the view spectacular. We won’t hesitate to come back! Thank you Michelle for your hospitality.

Our stay was short but lovely the place was neat, everything was well explained. We still made a mistake finding the location but totally our fault, yet Bart was there to help! Great place - hard to get to at night if you have a bigger car since there's about a 3 mile stretch from the main road to get here through farmlands, but you're going to Scotland for that reason right? It comfortably fit 6 people and everything was great. Wonderfully cosy den and sky-light room that made it beautiful to spend time in after a long day of hikes.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tigh Beag. The house was well presented and met all our needs. There is a lovely large lounge and kitchen/dining room which is great for larger parties. There were only 3 in our party so the house gave us plenty of space to enjoy. It is in a beautiful setting and very quiet.
