“We got in pretty late, but Sara was awake and met us at the door. She showed us the room and gave us good information about everything. The room is nice and clean, as is the bathroom, which is a private one just across the hall. It had a little attached room off to the side that has a keurig and some almondbars. Excellent ! We had everything we needed and met Carl the next morning. We had to leave super early, so we didn't get much time with them, but our stay was great. It is on a cul de sac so it's really quiet. Great place to stay and very reasonable price for what they provide.”

“Adorable cabin off the beaten path. Kitchen was well stocked and even included little snacks and drinks. The whole cabin was very clean, even the covered deck was spotless! The outside was like being in a storybook, moss covered ground, babbling brook and enclosed by trees. Maya greeted us when we arrived, she was very sweet and just stopped for a minute to say hello. We spent most of the weekend trout fishing in the nearby rivers. The locals were all very nice and helpful in pointing out good fishing holes, caught our limit both days. F-Mart had really good burgers and the woman behind the counter was super sweet and helpful. We had an all around wonderful time and look forward to another trip up, maybe even bring the kids this time.”
This completely remodeled cabin sits along the banks of the Saluda River. Enjoy fishing on the riverfront deck or floating in a tube on the river. You'll be tempted to sleep in the hammocks on the screened porch. A short drive to numerous state parks, hiking trails & Downtown Travelers Rest. Just 30 minutes to Downtown Greenville or Hendersonville. You'll feel like you've stepped back in time to a more relaxing pace of life.
“The Saluda River Retreat cabin was a spectacular getaway for my boyfriend and I! We were looking for a secluded location that was near water because we like to fish but still close enough to town in case we needed something emergent, and this cabin actually had its own river front on the Saluda River. We fished probably every night and caught a couple catfish. The cabin was pristinely clean and all amenities were available and complimentary! Nicole went the extra mile and printed off a list of the closest waterfalls, with directions, after I mentioned we wanted to go hike some while we were there. Also, there was a personal warm welcome note from the hosts as you walked in the door. Made us feel like we were valued as guests! Also, Nicole and Dan advised us before hand that the internet was spotty at the cabin and then they upgraded their service right before we arrived making the cabin even more enjoyable listening to music as we laid in the hammocks! Needless to say, we are looking at dates in the Fall for another relaxing stay at the Saluda River Retreat!”
