Such a nice, peaceful and cosy place! We stayed here to discover the Lauwersmeer with its variety of birds. It was lovely to start the day peaceful and end it cosy at Hans-Eriks place. Definitely would recommend! Would love to come back in a different season as well.

Great place to stay, just know that if you book during the weekend, it is a college town and kids drink and get loud outside. Nothing cosmic, just mildly annoying at 0100-0200.

The location was perfect—quiet yet close to everything the city has to offer. August was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in and a comfortable stay. It was truly a new and wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Leeuwarden. I’d love to stay here again in the future!

Had a great stay in the small apartment. Very fully furnished. A wonderful location to completely relax and unwind. You should not be very afraid of spiders and mosquitoes :-)

Perfect place – All-round carefree feel-good oasis! 🌿✨ Our stay at this fantastic place in the Netherlands was just perfect! Already upon arrival, we were surprised with a lovingly furnished and well-equipped apartment. Everything was really thought of here! Not only was the kitchen fully equipped, but there were also numerous extras available: coffee, tea, sugar, eggs, milk – and even cakes, mayonnaise and ketchup! A wonderful gesture that made us feel immediately welcome. There were also plenty of towels, blankets, and linens, so there was nothing missing. The stylish furnishings and loving decoration made the apartment a real oasis of well-being. Another highlight was the direct access to the garden, which allowed us additional relaxation. In short: perfect comfort, warm hospitality and a place where you feel right at home. We enjoyed every minute.

A comfortable and nicely furnished house, with every comfort! Beautiful surroundings with good hiking trails. It was also great for the children, nice outside rabbits on the property. Highly recommendable!

The owner Lammert is the best Airbnb owner I have ever met. He is very kind and well prepared for everything in the apartment. The house looks exactly the same as the photos. All the decorations and furniture let me feel like home. Their some beautiful forest close to the house. During morning or evening you could be able to walking in the forest and enjoy the fresh air. Strongly recommend for anyone who would like to stay in this small beautiful town for a nice vacation. For sure I’ll stay in this house for next time.

We stayed at the property over New Year's Eve and felt very much at home. The location right on the water is a highlight. It is a very quiet area, so highly recommended for a relaxing break.

We really enjoyed the Christmas holidays and the turn of the year in your beautifully decorated house. We felt like at home from the first second. Decorated with a lot of love for detail, even with a decorated Christmas tree, invited you to linger - whether at the large dining table with many board games or in the cozy sitting area by the crackling fireplace when reading a book. The property located directly on the water is also wonderful for watching nature and birds at sunrise or sunset or taking beautiful walks in the area with the dog and visiting small towns. During our stay we lacked nothing. Paul was a fantastic host who proactively responded to open questions within minutes. We also had the opportunity to check out later. The house is the perfect place to get away from the stressful everyday life and unwind.

Stay is in a good location to the city center of Leeuwarden. Museums, restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Well cared for stay. Good communication. Nice detail: the photo wall with what the street used to look like. Tip: the Miniature People hiking trail!

Very relaxed in a compact apartment where everything is present. Comfortable, cozy and we felt welcome. Nature and village within walking distance. A very nice visit to Vlieland so with our newborn baby. Neighbors hadn't heard her at night, they indicated. The insulation is fine. Being able to have breakfast in the sun. We were in apartment de Oude Kooi.

Everything tiptop. Marcel and his wife help with everything, are very friendly and relaxed. We rented Marcel's electric boat and did a tour through the canals and lake. It was wonderful. Marcel gave us a good introduction. Thank you!

The accomodation is located in a wonderful and silent neighborhood. The apartement was clean, very well equipped and cosy. The owners were friendly, Christel was quick to react if needed. We had a lovely stay and would gladly return.

What a wonderful stay. I was here around New Year's Eve, and the space was incredibly cozy and cozy. Small lights, candles and of course the wood stove! I went here for the silence, and it was quiet. I barely heard any fireworks. Lovely! Linda and Sjoerd are incredibly friendly and helpful. I'd love to come back!

We had a lovely stay. The place was private and had everything well-deserved rest for a few days. Bed was comfy and view was beautiful. The waterfront seating was our favorite. The surroundings are great too! We cycled over 80 kilometers. We definitely recommend this place 👍
