Tucked into the woods at the end of the road just 13 minutes from the heart of town, this cabin is a treasure. Cliff built the place himself; each tree sawn on his tractor-powered sawmill. We added family antiques, new mattresses and original art (lotsa comfort and love). The covered porch is high in the trees with breathtaking views 1000 feet above the Yellowstone River. This peaceful and centrally-located cabin is built with repurposed materials from million dollar homes in Jackson WY and old homesteads in surrounding farmland ID. An eclectic and cozy place to lay your head, enjoy forest views, and explore the forest on your way to the creek. Look out for the local deer herd, our red tailed hawk's nest, and listen for our resident great horned owl. Easy access to Targhee, Jackson, GTNP, YNP and more. Private, nearest neighbor is the main house 100ft away.

This fun cottage is located on the east side of the Bitterroot Valley, bordered on three sides by state land, so there is room to hike. A 10 minute drive brings you to the Bitterroot River, known for its excellent fly fishing. Across the valley are numerous trail heads that lead into the Bitterroot Mountains. By renting with us, guests agree to the terms of the contract. 2 night minimum stay. No animals allowed due to pet dander that is difficult to remove, and severe allergies to it.

The home is just outside Boise National Forest in Wildlife Canyon and an hour out of Eagle, Meridian and Boise. Guests will have access to the entire home. Choice of bedroom, either main floor or second floor. Bedrooms have an elegant walk-in shower. The second floor has two bedrooms, a kitchenette with mini frig, microwave, electric skillet, toaster oven and Kuerig and a deck with a hot tub, grill and bar height table and seating for four.
