We live on site, but the apartment is totally private, being the whole upper floor & with own entrance.

We are nestled in the beautiful rolling countryside just between the city of Castelo Branco & Fundao. This beautiful yurt is situated right on the edge of our land. In a lovely peaceful space between the trees, with a view to the Gardunha mountain. The house "Once Upon a Time.. is located in the charming village of Zebras, where the delicious Castelo Branco cheese is made. It is a stone house with more than 150 years, consisting of living room and bedroom with jacuzzi for two people. Decorated in a rustic/chic style with objects stored in the attic for several generations, which have been reinvented to tell a story. It is the ideal place to relieve the stress of the city and find peace.

The house is located on a fenced farm. It overlooks a lake, a pine forest and the Serra da Estrela, in a natural setting of great beauty. It has the right amenities for a few quiet days, with air-conditioning and electric heating, a refrigerator, a microwave, a small induction stove, an electric coffee maker, a blender, a gas grill and another charcoal grill outside, and a coffee machine (Delta capsules).

Quinta das Sesmarias is located on the urban outskirts of Vila de Alcains, a 3.5-hectare property that maintains the rural characteristics of the early 20th century. The first construction dates back to 1928 and was recovered in 2002 in the form of a villa. Visitors' rest and well-being are ensured by a peaceful environment in contact with nature.
