The little Refuge

This is a neat cottage for a couple or a little family (2 adults & 2 children) situated in the heart of the beautiful valley of Argelès-Gazost. It is a little house of about 40 square meters, with a separated parking and its own garden. At 450m high, it is close to shops (less then 5 minutes from 2 supermarkets) but in a quiet place, on the forest edge, without vis-a-vis. At the start of many walks, a nice trail brings you to Argelès-Gazost in about 20 minutes. Tranquility without isolation.

Two bedrooms, a shower room, a separate toilet, a private garden, very comfortable and full of charm for a great mountain vacation close to the ski resorts, the Spanish border and the most beautiful hikes in the Pyrenean mountains.

This cottage is newly renovated and we had the pleasure of living there for 14 years. You are in the village of Esterre, 50 meters above the church and a 10-minute walk to the shops and the center of the village of Luz. We live there and will be available whenever you arrive. Located at an altitude of 1000 m in the Val d'Azun, close to Lake Estaing and about 12 minutes from the Argelès Gazost Thermal Baths. Ideal for hiking (GR10 crossing from west to east), skiing with family or friends, or simply a need to recharge your batteries in the heart of nature. On site you will find a 35 m2 stone chalet on a 3000 m2 wooded property bordered by the Gave d'Estaing. DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS: the rental is per week. 😊

Small mountain chalet

I spent my childhood in this house, which has since been renovated to make it a warm welcome point for 2 people who love nature and tranquility with their pet (if cats are ok). Due to COVID, linens are not provided. Electricity consumption billed at the actual cost (meter reading on arrival and departure). We have installed a wood-burning stove, you can use it (plan to bring logs of 40 to 50 cm maximum).
