Kristiansand is home to Norway's largest shopping centre, as well as a theme park with animals, attractions and a water park, numerous shops, nightclubs, bars and restaurants. Good bus connections are available.

It takes about 25 minutes to drive to the Zoo, 20 minutes to Kristiansand city center and 3 minutes to drive to the grocery store. There are also public transport services nearby.
