Monthly Rentals in Sólheimajökull

It was a lovely get away from the city of Reykjavik. Everything was great as how we expected. We also got some place recommendations to visit around the area from the host. We were also lucky to see the northern lights from the deck of our cottage. Definitely recommend!

This stay was truly remarkable. The cottage was the perfect size for two people, but I think we would have been comfortable up to 4. Everything we could possibly need was found within. The reception was easy to find and the host was incredibly kind. There is a short 5 min walk to the most private and pristine black sand beach you could imagine. I cannot believe we were lucky enough to enjoy coffee on a beach, all to ourselves. I could not recommend this location enough.

Absolutely beautiful setting and a very quiet and peaceful stay. Exactly what we wanted. 😊 Located near several spots on our to-do list which was a big bonus! Would definitely stay again!
