The Cottage is part of a property owned by the Bernocchi family, which was already on maps of the area in the 1500s and is located right on an ancient Roman road that crossed the Calvana Mountains. About 9 km from Prato and 20 km from Florence. The Cottage, open on three sides, is situated in a panoramic position surrounded by a private park, ideal for walking and sports. L'Abitazione del Lauro, the larger of the two self-contained apartments, is spread over two floors, has 4 bedrooms (5th optional), 2 bathrooms, and a separate entrance. It is ideal for families or groups, who want to stay little under the hills of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, immersed in nature, in the peace of the countryside, surrounded by wild animals and immersed in the large equipped garden.

It is surrounded by chestnut woods and centuries-old oaks, just a 10-minute drive from Borgo Val di Taro, the main village.

Located near the path nr 1 (AV5T), you can reach Riomaggiore and Portovenere by trekking through the paths with a splendid view. It also has the convenience of arriving with the car under the house, the recommended way to reach us. 10 minutes by car from La Spezia and even less from Riomaggiore. Free parking on site.
