This house was as described! What a beautiful home to create memories with family. Easy access to the lake was the cherry on top! Will definitely be booking this home in the future.

Such a beautiful view. Nice quiet house and lovely Guatemalan decorations. Kitchen well equipped. Lots of space. We had so much fun in the area birdwatching and other activities. Miriam was super helpful and they came right away to help us with new lightbulbs. The Villa Xepoj is a great airbnb. Recommended! Thanks for sharing the lake home with us!

Amazing place, the listing photos are beautiful but in person it exceeded expectations. The house is very spacious, with many environments so that, although there are many people, everyone can have their space. It has everything you need. The beautiful garden as well as the exit to the lake. Very close to Santiago that also the main street very nice. Don Eduardo is very friendly. He supported us a lot. We will surely return, thank you very much for everything.

We felt honored to be part of this amazing tiny community for a week -- everyone is so welcoming, and the kids are hilarious. We hiked Volcan San Pedro, kayaked, saw Jupiter and its moons(!!) through the house telescope, and enjoyed the many local trails. The garden is stunning! Michael was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and proactive every step of the way. Enjoy the firecrackers, kids, dogs, roosters, rising smoke, and gorgeous sunrises from the terrace. Try to limit your Spanish and learn the local language! Staying here is a privilege, and if you're warm, attentive, and respectful, this trip will stay with you for a lifetime.

I’ve been coming to Guatemala since I was a child, as my family is from here. But in all the years that we’ve been coming, this has been the best experience we’ve had. The home was clean, beautiful, tranquil, and spacious. Our host, Maria, was so amazing and very informative. Yohanna the housekeeper was also amazing! I will be sure to book this home again for when I come back to Guatemala!

The house is spectacular, with wonderful views, Héctor and Gladys were super helpful and helpful at all times! Maria was always super communicative and the house was relentless at all times during our stay with all the amenities and amenities for me and my family. The place is a 100/10

Spectacular home at a beautiful location. The home exceeded our expectations and service was excellent. It housed our family of five from NY plus family of five from Guat comfortably. Elena was amazing as well. Super helpful. Boat process with Andre was seamless and easy. Would visit again and stay here without hesitation. Superb home, check in was easy and everything went very smoothly.

Our stay at Casa Eggedal was a wonderful, peaceful retreat. The surroundings are extraordinarily beautiful, with gorgeous gardens. The house is well designed for enjoying the scenery and for relaxing. The kitchen has more dishes and cooking pots/pans than I have at home. Deedle was very responsive and friendly. We loved relaxing in the pool and exploring the areas around the lake. As noted in other reviews, there are LOTS of stairs on the property, so be sure you’re up for that. We loved it and would definitely recommend a stay.

I loved this beautiful home and I’m so glad they are able to share this peaceful place near the lake with travelers. It looked great in the pictures but so much better in person. I recommend this place and my favorite part was the warm pool water and that it was kept clean daily for us!

Absolutely breathtaking❤️ a lot of stairs to walk up and down but it was worth it. 10/10

The place is awesome! It’s secluded off San Antonio but you need to get to Panajachel to take all the water taxis so we had to pay 400Q each way from the house to the pier. It was cheaper for 6 of us than to tuk-tuk half hour. The hottub is unfortunately on a timer and you need to ask them to turn it on, but it will shut off while using it. Calin and Daniel were very responsive over text and could help us with errands or organizing transportation when needed. The house is very spacious and the outdoor space is beautiful.
