Cheerful place to stay in converted barn

Sure, it is possible to combine fresh and comfortable accommodation with rural idyll, close to gardens, forest and lake! In 2022, we embarked on an exciting project to transform the barn on my grandfather's parent farm into a luxury leisure home. In May 2023 we finished the one apartment and in the autumn the other. The possibilities are many: enjoy the tranquility of forest walks, by the lake or on the patio in the evening sun and combine with excursions in the surrounding area and southern Sweden. Loading the car is included in the price.

Modern, charming and cozy accommodation in Nykulla

Minibacke is a lovely countryside accommodation in Nykulla, 2.5 km north of Växjö. You live in a newly renovated barn with fields and forests outside the knot and with many nearby sights. The place is best suited for 2 people. In the kitchen you can cook lighter meals. Stove, microwave, coffee maker and fridge with freezer compartment available. Smart TV with Chromecast and Soundbar with Bluetooth connection. Bathroom with toilet, shower, washer and dryer. Sauna and an outdoor hot tub with hot water. 2 bicycles are included.

Charming brewhouse

Quiet and secluded location at Haragården in Alboga, you live on the farm with animals around. We who live on the property have dogs and a cat. The brewhouse is added with modern standards with the old feel preserved. Downstairs: Fully equipped kitchen, bedroom with double bed, living room with sofa and armchairs, TV and openable windows, toilet and shower. Upstairs: Bedroom with double bed Wifi is available. The pond can be bathed in and next to it, there is a wood-fired sauna, outdoor furniture and barbecue.

Farmhouse in historic village in Österlen

Make yourself at home and cozy up in this rustic accommodation. Your stay is part of a converted barn from the 19th century, located in a village. In the entrance you are greeted by a stone ceramics floor and a living room with access to a private patio. Furnishings have been carefully selected and are a collection of old and new, with much of the old hand-picked from antique dealers and local shops. On the lower level there is a country kitchen, where a staircase leads up to a large bedroom.

Stay in this lovingly renovated barn in the forest of Småland. Many describe it as “in the middle of nowhere” – in the best possible way. You'll find a spacious kitchen, a comfortable bed, and everything you need for a relaxing stay. A wood-fired sauna, breakfast and EV charging are available as optional extras. Hjalmars Farm the Studio

The guest apartment is located in the barn at our farm in Stigfjorden Nature Reserve. You see the open landscape with fields and farms, behind mountains and forests to walk in. Nearest bath is 1 km. The silence is significant even during the summer period. To Skärhamn 12 km, Pilane Art 8 km and to Sundsby manor 7 km. Cozy guest suite for two at Riddargarden!

Newly renovated one room guest suite with separate entrance built into an old barn. The property has five buildings dating back 200 years! The guest suite is newly renovated with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The property is located on 9 hectares of mostly forest and surrounded by hundreds more. In the middle of nowhere yet only 10 minutes to E4. The hosts are a Swedish/American couple and are available on site. Pets are welcome! Rustic Luxury!

Homely furnished mill from the beginning of the 19th century

Fantastic mill with history from the 16th century. In the kitchen there is a dishwasher induction stove, oven and microwave, fridge/freezer. In the small TV room is a smart tv. Upstairs, there was a carpentry workshop that is now a modern TV room with wifi, amplifier,Chromecast, speaker system, and projector. The shower is in the basement. The terrace facing the sheep garden has garden furniture and spa swimming. Wood stove in the kitchen.Bastu is available.

Skævinge, the old chicken coop in a rural setting

We have renovated the old hen house to a small cozy annex. The house has a room and is situated on its own in our small country house and we have 12 hens and a rooster that graze freely on the piece next to the house. The farm is originally from 1914 and is surrounded by fields and overlooking bedrock mountains. On the property you will also find our cafe and farm shop that sells coffee, cake, sandwich, brunch etc. opening hours Friday-Sunday 10am-5pm
