That’s intentional. You light the sauna, pump water from the lake, and cook on gas or an open fire at the laavu. Note: this stay requires basic outdoor skills. You must be comfortable making fires, bringing your own sheets and drinking water, and doing the final cleaning before checkout.

A small cottage (approx. 30 m2) with a sauna, located on the shore of Lake Nuasjärvi in the courtyard of a detached house, which is ideal for short-term accommodation alone, as a couple or even with a small group, for example, for a business trip, a stopover or a short holiday. The cottage is mainly for our own use, but we will make the cottage and the beach area available for the guest's use for the duration of the booking.

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful place to stay. The fully equipped cottage has two bedrooms, a sleeping loft, a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and an electric sauna. The courtyard has a terrace and a private barbecue canopy. The shore of the pond, where there are boats and a large barbecue hut, is at the disposal of the residents. The maximum number of people is 5 adults + 2 children (under 14 years).

A spacious, modern chalet in a peaceful location, by a small, serene stream in the middle of the Finnish forest. The chalet is located only a short driving distance away from Sotkamo city centre and Vuokatti Ski Resort (16km). The chalet has a traditional Finnish sauna by the stream. Guests also have access by boat to a small peninsula with a sand beach by the lake, located on a shore at the other end of the stream.

The large windows offer a wonderful view directly to Lake Oulu. The sandy beach is only 40 meters away. The fiberglass rowboat is available for guests on the beach. The terrace has a new gas grill and the yard has a new wood-fired grill.

The property was completed in 2022 in Sotkamo's church village. Shops and restaurants, a library, a beach and hiking trails are within walking distance. Vuokatti is 7 km away, and it can also be reached by bus. In front of the house, there is a dock where you can swim or paddleboard. You can also go fishing. You can keep your bike safe at night and take trips in the beautiful scenery during the day.
