Kid-friendly holiday rentals in South Frontenac

We stayed at the little blue cottage for a girls trip. The best thing about this place was the location. It was just a very short walk to the beach, cafe, restaurants, grocery store, and walking trail. The home was cozy and clean. The kitchen was fairly well equipped and I felt like I could ask the host if we needed anything else. The queen bed was very comfy. And there were plenty of linens, blankets and towels. Shannon was there if we needed her but left us to enjoy the space. I recommend sitting outside on that beautiful deck in the morning. ☕️🕶️☀️ Thanks for a great stay!

Hosts are very responsive and helpful, the place is lovely, extremely clean, has all amenities and looks even better than the photos. I have stayed there twice and would stay again!!!!

This is our second visit and it won't be our last. This is a wonderful place - it's quiet, comfortable, with great amenities and a terrific back yard. The location made it easy to take day trips around the county. We highly recommend it!

Freda was an amazing host. We all felt right at home and all agreed the pictures did not do the place justice. Everything was stocked and very clean. Place was very spacious as well with lots to do for all ages ex: Smart TVs, bikes, children's toys, pool, and more. Her response time was great. Easy check in and check out. Definitely would stay here again. It was a beyond wonderful stay for an amazing weekend get away with the girls. Was close to the town but in a quiet neighborhood, close to the wine tours, close to walking and bike paths. Loved this place.

Jo’s place was quiet and in a great location for visiting Picton Ontario. Walking distance to the downtown and all the great restaurants. Jo was a great host !!!! We left something of value behind, and she notified us within hours of our departure. She was very accommodating with helping in the return of our item. Can’t say enough good things about Jo. We will definitely be returning.

This place is beautiful, and Jaclynn is a warm and responsive host. The house is roomy, well equipped and comfortable, the property is leafy and full of birds, and our kids loved the games room on the occasional rainy day. We were here in summer, but this would be fabulous in other seasons too. Lots of space to relax! Thank you Jaclynn and family — we’ll be back!

My family and I had a comfortable stay at the cottage. There was more than enough space for the 7 off us. My toddler enjoyed playing in the sunroom. The location was quiet, yet very close to Clayton and Alex Bay. I would stay here again on a trip to the Thousand Islands.

We had a great stay, and would be happy to return. Clean, well equipped place, separate private entrance from hosts. Ideally located within walking distance of downtown - several coffee shops/bars/restaurants nearly. Street parking in a quiet neighborhood.

We had a fantastic stay with our kids while in town for our wedding! Hilary was incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed during such a special time. She was friendly, prompt, and answered all our questions quickly, which made the stay stress-free. The space was perfect for our family, with thoughtful touches that made it easy and comfortable for us and our little ones (like setting up a cot and having a pack and play available to use). We’re so grateful for their hospitality and would highly recommend this place to anyone, especially families. Thank you for helping make our wedding trip unforgettable! We will absolutely be looking to stay again sometime.

Comfortable place, nice furnishings, great off street parking available for 2 cars

This property was perfect for us. Even though it is on a busy street we were never bothered by traffic. We attended an event at Carleton university and it was in a great location. Only 10 minutes away. Check in and out was very easy and unit had everything we needed. It was very clean. The supply of coffee and chocolate treats were very much appreciated and added that little bit of extra care you don’t often see. Would definitely recommend.

Great flat in a centrally located spot. Doug and Sandy were super helpful and responsive even before arriving with loads of info on what to do, where to go and more importantly where to eat and drink cider. Would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a quiet centrally located spot with great hosts.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dave's place. It is a quiet area, but Québec city is very easy to reach by car. We will be happy to come back!

This was our second time staying at Carmel's place. We love the spaciousness, cleanliness and location of this home. Perfect for a family, it's on a quiet street and still walking distance to downtown. Carmel is a friendly, responsive host and the welcoming community of Almonte is a reason for returning when we are in the Ottawa area.

Excellent visit and impressive skiing for Ontario

It was a beautiful two-story luxury condominium loft. Perfect for a single person or a couple. The place looked exactly as it appeared in the photos. Helen was always responsive and helpful every time I messaged her. If I ever return back to Ottawa, I will happily book Helen’s condo loft again !!!

We had an issue the first day with our door knob being so loose, we couldn’t open the door to get back out! So I messaged Jacqualine, and she sent me back a response immediately, and had someone there to fix it within 10 minutes! But the recast of the place was very nice! The location is Great, in walking distance to River, shopping, restaurants, bars, ice cream shops and boat tour areas! And yo can see a lot of different size boats going up and down the river right out your kitchen window! We would highly recommend staying there!

I went to PEC with a girlfriend. The unit was the perfect size and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked. The bed linen was really nice :) It was a 5 minute walk to Main St which was perfect. We walked to dinner and entertainment. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Picton !

Had a great visit in between seasons and really enjoyed ourselves. Would recommend for anyone wanting to explore the area or visit with family nearby.
