There are plenty of trails nearby to explore, canoe rentals, skiing and so much more.

Do you want to truly get away and have no neighbors in sight? I want to welcome you to our secluded chalet in the woods. The chalet has everything you need for a restful and luxurious stay near Bethel and the beautiful surrounding area. We are located across the street from Round Pond and have access to some of Maine's best uncrowded fishing spots. Hiking abounds in the surrounding mountains along with the beautiful town of Bethel nearby. Also Mt. Abram is only a 5 minute car ride away.

Jewett Pond Retreat

Relax in the Western Maine Foothills at our cabin on Jewett Pond. The main cabin has 672 sq ft of finished living space with bedroom (queen bed), bathroom, basic kitchen, great room (queen sleeper sofa), and screened porch. There is an additional rustic bunkhouse with two twin beds. This space is ideal for a couple or adventurous family who enjoys swimming, canoeing, hiking, fishing, or sitting on the screened porch with a good book and pine forest backdrop. Canoe included with booking.

A quick 2 min. drive to the awesome village of Bethel, recently voted best ski town in North America. The house is only 12 minutes to Sunday River. You and your family will feel right at home in this cozy, private cottage with it's own pond. Also, a short drive to Woodstock, Mt. Abram, and more Western Maine adventures! Pond access just a few yards across the road and down from our camp. This area hosts a number of ski areas, hiking trails, snow machine trail access, and ATV/UTV trails within 10 miles in Waterford, ME and so much more. 25 minutes to Gorham, NH where you will find miles of ATV/UTV trails. Come enjoy a stay.
