Holiday rentals with a fire pit in South Yorkshire

We had a fantastic stay at Rosie and Adam’s place! Communication was great up to and during our stay and the accommodation has everything you would need and more! The location is absolutely stunning. Definitely will be back!

The college condition and feel is a real credit to the hard work Angela and staff put in. It feels like you’re at home from the moment you walk through the door and the views a just breathtaking. The bath towels feel amazing and the cottage is very well stocked with everything you need in the way of equipment and also of a very good quality. We were lucky enough to have some very fine weather and completed some great local walks and running routes. There wasn’t one thing that I could fault with this whole experience and can’t wait to book again.

dogs welcome but limited indoor space for them. lovely place but stairs to master bedroom not for people with limited mobility. lovely facilities and great surroundings.

Shirley and John were very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation was in a beautiful location and easy to find with Shirley's directions. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and quiet. We would happily recommended this stay to anyone and would love to return to explore more of the area.

Excellent house and host! There are plenty of walks from the doorstep into the Peaks; the house is extremely comfortable and well-stocked: we had a BBQ one day and a Sunday roast the next, with lots of comfy seating and table space for games etc. Maeve was fantastic - she gave us great recommendations for walks, a local butcher and a tea room. Pubs are walkable within 20-30 mins in Castleton and Hope (which also has a train station). And we even got a visit from the ponies and the sausage dogs! All messages were extremely prompt. Can’t recommend highly enough. Thanks Maeve!

Stefan was a great host, giving us all the information we needed for our stay, including giving us walking route suggestions that were the perfect length. The place was small, simple, but just what we needed. Stefan also setup the firepit for us to have a barbeque, which did the job perfectly. Would recommend for anyone looking for a base from which to go walking.

Laura was a great host, very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed staying in her beautiful house and had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend away. Fantastic views too!

This was an excellent location for us to visit family and friends before Christmas. The house was brilliant for our needs. Plenty of space for us all, including a toddler and dog. Brilliant to find such an amazing house that was very dog friendly. Even though I was late in telling Simon about taking a dog, there was a bowl of water, dog blankets and a torch in the utility room. It was also brilliant to be able to access the Sculpture Park free of charge straight from the dog proof garden. Great for long on lead dog walks. This is Simon's home so unlike many Airbnb properties it has some personal features. I did smile when I opened his 'man draw' in the kitchen 😂. The house was very clean, comfortable and spacious. We would love to stay there again.

The Hollies is a lovely peaceful, beautifully decorated home-away-from-home. I had a very comfortable stay and I wish I’d had longer. Lisa had left helpful instructions for all the tech I was unfamiliar with, which made it unstressful. The patio garden was an extra delight in the hot weather. I’ll definitely try and visit again.

Meghan's property was lovely, and exactly what we needed. Was nice to be able to sit out in the garden and enjoy the weather when not out and about. Was located in a very quiet location and would definitely stay again if we came back!

Really spacious apartment, I stayed with a friend and we both had a room each with our own bathroom. If we’d had more time, we’d have sat on the balcony as that was cute. Walking distance to a lovely cafe and parking was really easy. Would stay again. Handy for getting to the Peak District for hikes nice and early the next day.

Ideal little get away. I ended up going on my own and needed a quiet retreat. It is close enough to others that I didn't feel isolated, but wasn't bothered at all whilst there. Lovely spot looking over the lake and the fields beyond and a cosy cabin. Pretty much everything I needed, thank you for the welcome pack. I would agree that a stove top would be useful in the kitchenette. Hot water pressure is also very low. Great for the dog, but be aware if you bring dogs, that the area is not fully fenced and there is livestock around. Will definitely be returning, thank you 😊

Kay is a wonderful host with great communication throughout our booking.. very welcoming and would highly recommend her place to stay.. definitely be coming back in the future when in the area.

We travelled by train to Hope. Little Croft was easy to find from the train station and a short walk from the centre of Hope village. The accommodation has everything you need for a short stay, is beautifully decorated and the view that you wake up to is gorgeous. Kate is a lovely host. Definitely recommend as a place to stay whilst exploring the Peak district :)

Great little bolt hole for a night away, peaceful, quiet and plenty of on street parking available. The addition of a shared kitchen annexe next door if required too! Great communication with the renter and a funky little cabin!
