Staying in this place was a magical moment to relax and reflect on the terrace. It's a beautiful place that's easy to find. Despite the proximity to the main road, it was quiet and peaceful. Great location - very close to the main tourist attraction on Bruny Islands - the beach where you can watch penguins at night. Clean, cozy, with a kitchen where you'll find everything you need. Even a coffee machine :)

We were absolutely blown away by the skill and craftsmanship that was put into building this cottage. This, and the views have to be seen to be believed. Views were breathtaking. Walks and local eateries great. Beautiful soft towels and bed. Loved the sensor lights. So kind to leave breakfast and many other specialties. Lovely balcony. We found we just wanted to stay there a lot rather than venture out far; as it had everything we needed. Absolutely will recommend this place as well as beautiful Kettering.

We were traveling as a family group of ten and this house accommodated us so well. The location is so beautiful and we loved exploring the local region and then coming home to wander the beach each evening. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The host was friendly, responsive and helpful

We were here for my wife’s birthday weekend. Michelle was so kind to bring a cute cake to celebrate her. It was such a beautiful gesture. The house is so peaceful and beautiful. It is surrounded with private land so many trees and chickens. We enjoyed morning walk sunrise and sunset. Lots and lots of board games in the house to keep your little one occupied. Over all we had amazing time at Banksia cottage.

We had an amazing stay at this lovely and cozy property. It truly felt like a home away from home—quiet, comfortable, and nestled in a beautiful suburb. The space was impeccably clean, thoughtfully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a stress-free stay. The check-in process was seamless thanks to the clear instructions provided by the host, who was also incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and delightful getaway. Thank you for hosting us!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was squeaky clean. The instructions given by Brad were very clear. Stay was close to the Rosny park shopping centre. Don’t miss the beautiful view of the Tasman bridge from this stay. The Rosny park look out is very close to this stay and a very wonderful view. If coming again to Hobart would definitely prefer this stay.

We had a fantastic stay! The views were absolutely spectacular, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The place was spotless and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bedroom downstairs would be better suited for young adults or kids. Being within easy walking distance to The Lufra for dinner was a huge bonus. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!
