The Casa del Capitano is located on the top of Monte Grosso in the National park of the tuscan archipelago. The location is unique on the island and from here you have a fantastic view of the city of Portoferraio, Piombino, Corsica, Capraia and Gorgona. The house was restored during a project lasting several years, in close collaboration with the National Park and was designed to be self-sufficient and ecological. Here you use purely the energy of the sun, without having to renounce luxury.

The property (Anwesen) is located outside the village. From the road you reach in a few minutes walk through the holm oak forest, the simple, functional guest house with a view of the sea. Olives, lemons, oranges, figs, vegetables and herbs grow in the garden. Next door Ayurveda massages can be booked. On foot it is 30 minutes beautiful walk to the village. For smaller trips bicycles are available. - The entire property (Anwesen) is kept smoke free, a few steps outside can be smoked like.

In the past, La Guardiola was placed to defend the entrance to Porto Azzurro from the sea. It had two key features: an extensive and dominant view and immediate access to the sea. The 40 m² apartment directly above the sea is in a quiet location, just 70 m from the beach promenade of Marciana Marina and a few meters to the beaches of the village. The house is located in the ancient district. Cinema set for the episodes of 'Delikte des Barlume,' an Italian crime series set in the heart of Tuscany. The designer apartment with very high ceilings was completely restored as a loft in 2023 and comfortably furnished.
