Great spot for a long weekend! Wonderful location close to the beach and local wineries. Richard was a great host offering lots of recommendations and clear instructions for check in and using available amenities.

This well-appointed space is perfect for two people. Old Lyme is justly famous for its Florence Griswold Museum, as well as one of the better historic main street walking tours. (Currently, there's an exhibit at the museum about Old Lyme's slave-owning past.) And, then, of course, there's the ocean. Remember to ask your hosts about their beach parking pass. P.S. You may also need to bring your own coffee for the drip system.

The place was charming, quaint, and exactly as described. It had a cozy vibe that made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect, with easy access to everything I needed. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout my stay. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for an enjoyable experience!

Wow!! The perfect peaceful getaway that is close to everything!! Tucked away off the road the house is quiet with a beautiful yard. The interior is both stylish and comfortable. The kitchen is extremely well outfitted. Andrew is a great host and an excellent communicator. We only wished we could have stayed longer!! The question isn’t will we come back, it’s simply when!

Honestly probably the BEST AirBnB I have ever stayed in, and we use AirBnb a lot. The place is immaculate, and everything seemed brand new. It is even much nicer than the photos online show, and I feel it's even bigger than the pictures show. I forgot my charger at the unit, and she contacted me right away and saved it for me. She was quick to respond to anything I asked. The location is great, on a quiet dead end street. The neighborhood is very quiet. 10 minute drive to Southampton Village and just a few minutes from Ponquogue Ocean beach. The backyard is huge and pretty. The rooms are sunny and bright. Everything seemed brand new. The beds were comfortable. Sheets and towels were pristine. Kitchen had coffee, and there is a Hampton Coffee 5 minutes away. Design and decor were really top notch. There is a little table and chairs outside. She leaves beach towels! There is even a little electric fireplace. A truly perfect stay and Ana is so nice! Can't wait to come back.

We absolutely loved Michael's cottage. It is a ~15 minute walk from the village and is on a quiet street. The cottage feels like a beach house but is very well appointed and homey. We loved our stay and would absolutely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Mischa’s home. The house was truly stunning - beautifully decorated and clean. Mischa has clearly thought about all of the little details that make a stay memorable - the kitchen was well stocked and the place was so cozy.

Cheryl's place was adorable! I felt right at home in the cosy open concept living space. My mom crashed the weekend portion of the trip which was nice. My cat Mushu had a wonderful time and we even went outside. The beach was about a four minute walk for me, and a breathtaking view as you approach. Cheryl had everything necessary and mentioned. Next time I'll be sure to bring coffee filters and sugar. There were unexpected amenities too like paper towels and trash bags, and candles. There were also tons of spare toiletries like shaving cream and shampoo and conditioner and body wash. Thanks again!

Definitely is the best place that we have been , nice location ,super clean, kitchen is beautiful, the cottage is extremely private, bathroom super clean, in summer would be great to come back ,in other words absolutely fantastic!!! 100% recommended

Erin Leigh’s cottage was everything we hoped for and more. She was proactive, responsive, and kind from the start — making sure everything was smooth before and during our stay. The setting is peaceful, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with unique touches throughout the home. It was the perfect base for exploring both the eastern and western sides of the North Fork — whether by bike or by car. We loved how close it was to town, beaches, and vineyards, yet still felt tucked away and relaxing. Truly a gem. Highly recommend!

Rich’s cottage was very comfortable for me and my 2 friends who came for a weekend winery getaway. The kitchen looked newly renovated and each of the bedrooms were comfortable. Also, the cottage had a nice deck in the back to relax on. Location was a short walk to a public beach and driving distance to many restaurants and wineries. We had a great stay.

We, a group of 4, really enjoyed our stay at this place. It’s surprisingly roomy and comfortable inside with spacious kitchen and living room. It’s a short walk to a wonderful market and a few restaurants and short drives to many other areas of the Hamptons. Really good central spot, very clean and comfortable. Very good value! We highly recommend!

I stayed for 17 nights during September. Would highly recommend Katharine’s charming beach cottage to any traveler looking to spend time in Sag Harbor. The home is full of light. Spent many evenings enjoying dinner outside on the deck. I didn’t have a car but I brought my bike from the city. The walk into the main Sag Harbor village takes 35 mins, or 10 mins bike.

We lived our stay at Carey’s place and plan to come back next year. Amazing location if you want to relax and take a few days away from the city. The house is very cozy and comfortable with a great backyard facing the water. Thanks Carey!!

We had a great experience staying at Melissa’s cottage and would happily recommend it to anyone else! We were in town from Florida visiting family in Rocky Point for Christmas and chose Melissa’s property as our place to stay. What a find!! The location is wonderful and so is the cottage! So close to the beach. It’s clean and spacious. I can’t wait to bring the whole family for a week here. I highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a great escape.

We had a wonderful time! The cottage is well located; we were able to drive back & forth to New London, Mystic, & several other towns. We did so many things on this trip: saw a movie, saw a play, went to Ocean Beach twice, Mystic Seaport, & the Yale Peabody museum. My only complaint is that we should have stayed "home" more & enjoyed our own beach more often! We took walks every day and watched for the tide to reveal the sand bar & walked out there whenever we could, which was so cool! The sound of the water changed when the sandbar was revealed. We found lots of cool shells. We really appreciated the chairs & umbrella in the well stocked shed. We did a little grocery shopping and made egg sandwiches so we only ate out once a day which saved money. I ate my sandwiches outside day & night, something I never do at home. The house was completely stocked with everything needed plus some! The only negative was not enough curtains which made it too bright to sleep & not enough privacy.
