Holiday rentals with breakfast in St Andrews

Fantastic stay. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need. Hot tub was great and the garden was peaceful. Everything was spot on and communication was great! Will be back!

Karen and Bruce were incredibly kind and thoughtful hosts during my stay with my daughter. The suite was very attractive and comfortable, with a pleasantly powerful shower. It's a short walk from the city center in a residential area, so not the kind of thing you'd pick if your preference is to walk out your door to find places for going out for breakfast. But better yet, they provide breakfast for free, overlooking a beautiful and peaceful garden.

We are grateful to Scott for so many reasons - welcoming us to his Leith flat in person, showing us all the flat's amenities, giving us local recommendations, and dropping off an overlooked pair of glasses at our hotel in Edinburgh the next day. We had a very easy time getting there by taking the tram from the airport, we had a very comfortable stay, and we appreciated very much glancing through some Edinburgh books and having some fruit, granola, yogurt, milk, and tea for breakfast. I recommend Scott's place as highly as possible as the ideal experience we hope for when we rent an Airbnb host's place.

We were so fortunate to have found Karen’s place! She was an absolute delight to communicate with, before and during our stay! Even when our plans had unexpectedly changed, she was so easy to talk to about our delay. Always warm and welcoming! Her place offered our family of 3 a quiet retreat from the city after long days of sightseeing, yet still close enough by bus, and navigating was a breeze. Thank you for your hospitality and opening your home to us. It was truly a pleasure! Cheers!

Tracy and Davey were the perfect hosts. Pleasant, polite and catered every need. Would love to return for another nice relaxed weekend in a beautiful part of the world. Naturally to see Toots again too, can't forget her.

Self Check-in was very easy with instructions. The room was wonderful. Have a table was a real pleasure. The room was very well equipped. The bed and pillows was amazing, very comfortable !

This place was perfect for the six of us- and it even had a washer (one that could wash and dry!). We loved the artwork inside, too. The location was great, comfortable, and Trish helped with recommendations for food and travel. Street noise was no bother, though one must stick to the sidewalk when walking about.

We stayed at 63 Moubray Grove, South Queensferry for a Buissines trip and found the property well presented clean and tidy with all the modern amenities you could wish for in a quiet residential area. The property is easy to get to with local shops very close by also Dalmeny train station within an easy walk away. Nicky was extremely helpful and quick, easy communication.

Janet was an excellent host, super friendly and helpful, had some great advice and suggestions for us. Beautiful home and relaxing stay, everything was nice and clean, the foodstuffs provided were much appreciated too.

What can I say, we found a gem and that was Matt! He is the perfect host, wonderful warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble, he is passionate about where he lives and local knowledge is perfect for those who are new to the area. His accommodation is stunning, his passion for renovating the property to be as authentic as possible shines through, it was beautiful. The garden is just stunning! The accommodation is near all the amenities, beautiful park nearby, quiet and extremely comfortable. I can highly recommend staying and we will definitely return!

I stayed at the Giddy Limit for a couple of nights before my wedding and it was the perfect location to get ready! The apartment is in a beautiful house and gardens, has loads of natural night and even a view to the loch from the balcony. Evelyn was extremely communicative and helpful throughout. Highly recommend!

Looked just like the pictures, great amenities, very comfortable stay. From hairdryer and hair straightener, iron etc. I would definitely stay again!

Apartment was great, views of the firth and it's bridges stunning. Short walk to the great pubs and restaurants.

Zone quiet and recidential but within walking distance to tram to city centre and airport. Several busses to everywhere

A lovely space; very attractively decorated; wonderful location in probably one the most beautiful towns in Central Scotland; quite simply, perfect.

We spent a very comfortable and relaxing time at Sue's place. The perfect host. The guest area is self contained and provided everything we needed and breakfast in the morning got us off to a good start. The Inn at Kingsbarns serves great food and the coastal walk is close by so both are definitely worth visiting.

I had the pleasure of staying for three nights at Jo and Steven's lovely home on my way to the Isle of Skye. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the warmth and care they put into making their guests feel welcome. My room was impeccably clean, wonderfully cozy, and provided a haven of peace and quiet after long days of exploring. Jo and Steven have thoughtfully prepared a dedicated kitchen for guests, which was both convenient and well-equipped. Their beautiful garden was a delightful retreat, perfect for enjoying sun or the fresh evening air. The location itself is serene, safe, and ideally situated for visiting both Edinburgh and St Andrews. Steven kindly recommended some excellent restaurants and must-see attractions in the area, while Jo went above and beyond by providing a lovely selection of breakfast essentials, including fresh milk, bread, cereal, and fruit. Their hospitality was truly heartfelt and made my stay all the more special. Thank you, Jo and Steven.

Unfortunately Mary was called away to look after a sick relative on the day of our arrival but John Archie was a fantastic and welcoming host to us and our doggy. The house was beautifully clean and the bedding and towels immaculate. The bed and pillows were so comfortable! It was a nice quiet area but with easy access to all the amenities of South Queensferry. John Archie put on a delicious breakfast for us and was such good company that I felt like I’d made a friend by the time we left. A shame we didn’t get to meet Mary but I hope we can come back and will definitely want to visit John Archie and Mary again if we are ever in the area.

This location was incredibly convenient for public transport, with a bus stop right outside the entrance. There were plenty of local supermarkets nearby and the surroundings were lovely. The host( Catherine) was exceptionally kind and always ready to help. The room was spotless and well-equipped—even an EU-UK adapter was provided. Breakfast was great as well. I highly recommend this wonderful Airbnb to everyone ^_^

Great one night stay. Charming little cottage! Quiet, peaceful, warm, has everything you need and a wonderful place for country walks among the beautiful farms. The breakfast was five star and Rosemary was a very friendly and kind host. will have to come back for a longer stay.

The perfect little cottage within walking distance to everything! And John was the perfect host! His entire family worked as a team to insure our stay was amazing. They communicated well, always had great recommendations, and provided everything we could possibly need. This cottage is so close to EVERYTHING! I can’t stress this enough. There’s a GREAT restaurant, quaint little shops, a bakery, a convenience store, local attractions, etc. literally across the street. And I’ll add, while the cottage is central to everything, just off the main road, it’s sooooo quiet. You can’t go wrong booking John’s place!

Super adresse quand on veut visiter Édimbourg qui est à 15 minutes en voiture. La chambre était propre, salle de bain attenante petite mais fonctionnel. Lit de bonne qualité. Et petit déjeuner super. Je recommande l'adresse !

Wow where do we begin. At all stages of our stay Claudia was attentive and friendly. East Cottage is one of the most beautiful and well appointed places we’ve stayed and easily accommodates a mum and three daughters for our three day stay. For us the beds were very comfortable, linen top notch and the lounge with its log burner a lovely place to relax after a day out exploring St Andrews and the V&A. The Fife Coastal Path is on the doorstep and Balgrove Larder is a must visit for both dining in and buying excellent local produce. We can’t recommend both Claudia and East Cottage enough and therefore it’s ‘5*’ from us.
