Two grocery stores within walking distance, of which one Sunday open, as well as gas station. In Stamsund you will find cozy cafes, yoga centers and several art galleries. Stamsund is located in the middle of Lofoten. Leknes is 10-15 minutes away. An hour's drive north is Svolvær, and an hour and a half south is Reine/Mosskenes. Short distance to popular beaches Haukland, Uttakleiv and Unstad.

With an hour by car to both Svolvær one way and Å the other. Just outside the apartment there are possibilities for nice mountain hikes. Stamsund also has both grocery stores, restaurant and coffee shop at walking distance.

Cozy Original Rorbu with sauna and hot tub

One of the very few original fishermen's cabins still around. It is more than 150 years old, but has been re-done and is in very good condition. The timber walls offers genuine ambience, yet the cabin also offers conveniences such as a sauna, bathroom and modern kitchen. The rorbu is most suitable for a couple or a family with 2 children.
