Just over 5 minutes walk from the train station and within easy reach to all of Durham City, this studio offers guests a flexible space while visiting the area. The studio flat is located on the lower ground floor of our home, accessible via external steps. This private space has it's own entrance/exit, bathroom, kitchenette, lounge space and double bed. Pay and display parking available on North Road for guests travelling by car. Travel cot available for couples travelling with an infant.

Rose Cottage is a 150 year old Grade II listed property, located within the Durham City conservation area. It is ideally situated for guests to enjoy the many attractions of this historic city, including the Unesco World Heritage site of Durham Cathedral and Castle, Durham University Museums and Gardens, riverside walks and an abundance of eateries. Forge Cottage

We have recently updated this cottage ---- with a new kitchen with a proper hob and oven, and also replaced all the windows and even the front door ! The Forge cottage is set on our working sheep farm, on the Durham Northumberland border. Ideal for couples, or people traveling on their own, the cottage is a great location for local attractions such as Beamish Museum, Durham, Newcastle, Kilhope lead mining museum etc., but it's also great for those looking for peace and quiet and country walks !!
