Mountain cabin in Trodla-Tysdal after 3 hours hike

Trodla-Tysdal has been a tourist destination for hikers since 1892. Tourists have to walk for appox. 3 hours (7 km) from Kleivaland parking place. There is no driving road to Trodla-Tysdal. Trodla-Tysdal means the valley of the Norwegian Trolls due the wilderness and dramatic nature. In 1996 Reidunn and Kjell built a tourist cabin for hikers. In 1998 in addition a small private cabin. In 2017 this small cabin was renewed and now it is possible to book this small cabin for you.

This is a fantastic property in the outer lysefjord with very good standard and practical solutions. Wake up to the waves and enjoy the day at the seaside or at the sea. This property is in a beautiful location right on the seafront with its own pier in front of the cottage. Parking just behind the cottage. The cottage is 90 m2. Well-equipped nest cabin with a shipsparket in the living room, loft room and 4 bedrooms make this a place for the whole family. Possibility to rent a boat.

Great family apartment on the first floor with stunning views of Lysefjord. You won't get any closer to the fjord. The apartment has a double terrace door facing the fjord. You get a feeling of being "at sea" when you enter the apartment. Large bedroom with double bed, with the option of shutting down two extra beds if there are many of you sharing the apartment. The other bedroom has a family bunk with room for two downstairs and one person upstairs.
