Walking and hiking opportunities can be found in our beautiful village on the Norderteich, as well as the nice restaurant "Zur Post". There are plenty of shopping opportunities for the daily needs (Rewe, Lidl, Aldi, etc.)restaurants (including McDonalds) and leisure activities. We recommend a visit to the Externsteine (7 km), the Herrmanns Monument (15 km) or the Schieder Reservoir (12 km).

Welcome to beautiful Detmold! Our apartment is super central - right on the market square. So restaurants, shops, stores, snacks, hairdressers or pubs are right outside the front door. The numerous sights of the region are wonderfully accessible by bus. Buses run 3 minutes away. A cheap parking space is 5 minutes by walk. The apartment is on the second floor of one of the oldest buildings in Detmold, with cozy old building charm.

My place is right in the center of the historic old town of Höxter. Restaurants and pubs as well as all shopping are within walking distance. Corvey Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is only about 3 km away. Höxter is located on the R1 bike path, only about 500 meters from the apartment. Towards Godelheim after about 1.5 km is the recreational lake with swimming and sports facilities, which is very popular in good weather.

The apartment (80 square meters) is on the ground floor, in a quiet residential area. The open-air museum is very close. Free parking is available on the property. A garden with large lawn, barbecue area, as well as a covered balcony with garden furniture is available. Bicycles can be stored in a lockable garage. The possibility to charge the battery exists there. The highway (A33, A2) can be reached in less than 10 minutes.

The apartments are non-smoking apartments, no pets allowed.
