Originally built on the banks of Macquarie Harbour, this house was moved piece by piece to Queenstown around a century ago and has recently had a lot of love. Like its surroundings, this house is filled with rich colours, raw timber, and fittings that hint at eras past. With restored furniture, a wood fire, and big windows that look out and shut tight, this cottage both honours and offers shelter from the mountains that surrounds it.

The Police Superintendants Cottages is a cosy two bedroom cottage with a spa, an open fire place and a large flat screen TV, there is also a full laundry. The main bedroom has a Queen size colonial bed suit & the second bedroom has three single beds. This cottage was the original the Police Superintendants cottage in Strahan & was built in circa 1880. It has also been used as a lock up and served as a court house in its day as well. Pet friendly cottage.
