This is one of Cape Town's environmental and historic treasures. It is a candle-lit hideaway with stunning views of mountain and sea. The Cottage is completely off grid, with fresh water coming off the mountain and energy from the sun. The cottage is built from local materials - stone walls, reed ceilings, blue gum supports. There are glass doors and windows throughout the cottage. The cottage has a beautiful open-plan bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom includes a tub, a toilet and a basin.

Our studio apartment opens up onto a 40sq meter balcony with a panoramic view of the Hout Bay Valley and the Helderberg mountains beyond. Large sliding doors disappear into the walls creating an unimpeded indoor/outdoor flow while the elevated position protects your privacy. The open plan bathroom faces onto an enclosed secret garden which includes a frame-less glass shower. The unit has a fully equipped kitchenette and is serviced daily except weekends and public holidays.

You’ll be staying in a 145 square meter space with a private balcony right on the beach! A fully equipped kitchen with LG and Smeg appliances is ready for your use and a dishwasher is available for when you’re done (you’re on holiday after all)! A washer and dryer is also available should you need it. Fast WiFi is also included. One on-site, secure parking is available for your vehicle. Please note noise disturbance is not permitted within the rules of the building.
