Waterfront holiday rentals in Stratford

This was our first time staying in an Airbnb and it was a wonderful experience. We were visiting our daughter and her family in Northport. Jeannette's apartment is beautiful and has a beachy, homey feel. We enjoyed a very relaxing week there and it made our stay in Northport extra special. Jeannette is a very welcoming and fantastic host!

Stayed here for a Valentines getaway and wow - we couldn’t have picked a better spot! Nate and Gloria gave us a whole list of amazing recommendations for our stay, and surprised us with chocolate covered strawberries and other goodies when we arrived! The home was in great condition and super clean when we arrived. They were always very responsive and kind as well! We are definitely looking forward to coming back and couldn’t recommend them enough!!

Margie’s place is an amazing hidden gem. The inside is very clean and comfortable. The outside is an experience of its own. The lake will drop your blood pressure immediately. Gorgeous surroundings. The dogs are friendly and lovable. We will be back! 👍🏼

Andy's place was impeccably clean and well-appointed. I cook most of my meals while traveling and the kitchen was well stocked with the basics (oils, spices, soy sauce, vinegar) and all the necessary cookware (including containers & wrap to store leftovers & prepped food items). It was the type of Airbnb that felt more like visiting the home of a friend who had thoughtfully considered anything you might need. (including detergent for laundry & toiletries). This was refreshing in light of many Airbnb's feeling more like a Residence Inn, than a home. As a bonus, Andy has excellent taste in books and I wished my stay was longer so I could have read some of what was on the shelves.

Perfect house for a family/couple visit to the beach. It was great for my kids and I. We loved the space that the house offered and how close it was to the beach. Everyone was very pleasant that we spoke to. The house was clean, safe and felt like a home away from home.

We found Dmitry's place to be just as advertised - it was warm, comfortable and well stocked for our family get together. We enjoyed the views of the water and the open common areas. We especially appreciated having a full bath and bedroom on the first floor for our elderly mother.

This house is a gem! I came to stay a week in off season with my dog, Rollo. The location is breathtaking, right on the Long Island Sound. We had a great time exploring the beach, looking for all the biodiversity in the birds and sea creatures, watching the boats, and this place is relatively close to an airport so watching the planes land and take off was awsome as well. We came for privacy, and I expected the beach to be a little more private than it was due to my dog's reactivity. But the neighbors did not seem to have issues with us, and once you are close to the water, especially in low tide, the beach is pretty open for all the locals. Walking around, the locals all waved and said hello. Not too many restaurants close by, but the Lobster Shack down the road had good food! Would stay again! The deck alone was worth it!

We were so happy with everything throughout our stay! The house had everything we needed including some extras for our kids that we hadn’t thought of! The furniture was really comfortable, and they had nice new beach stuff for us to use as well. We loved Walnut Beach and being able to walk to get coffee and ice cream. Highly recommend!

we rented La Spiaggia in December, and while it's mostly going to be more beautiful and better in the summer (since it's a beach house) it was still perfectly fine in the winter; well insulated and with good strong heaters. speaking of the beach I can't stress enough of how close this place is to the water; I'm talking literally ten steps to the sand. I would certainly recommend the place as a great summer getaway!

Cameron's home was warm and inviting and extremely clean with water views from every window highly recommend and make sure you take a walk on the beach !

We had a great time! The house was super, the view was fabulous! The kitchen and all of the bathrooms were updated and very clean. We enjoyed the beautiful deck overlooking the water. Within 30 minutes of many vineyards, Southold and Greenport. Could not have asked for a better place to stay!

Had a great stay at Jill and Elia’s place.The house was cozy and clean, and they were super welcoming. Loved the peaceful backyard with the friendly cats, plus the free snacks were a nice touch. Highly recommend for a comfortable stay!
