You will experience pure nature at our accommodation in the middle of the rock world of Saxon Switzerland. The car is in a meadow, with the sheep and chickens in the meadow behind it. Immediately behind that, the forest and the hiking trails to the rocks begin. Please note: Please bring your own duvet covers, sheets and towels. The car is on the premises of our hostel, where groups of guests also stay, so it's not a secluded location! In winter, it's super quiet, pure nature and really cosy with a wood-burning stove.

The town of Wehlen is located in the Upper Elbe Valley in the heart of Saxon Switzerland National Park. The tranquil health resort looks back on almost 800 years of history. The market house is a historic gem and is a listed building, designated as the first hostel of Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the historic castle ruin. The vaulted cellars date back to 1527, while the main house was built in 1734 in the Franconian half-timbered style.

We rent our simple, cozy hut in Thürmsdorf - in the heart of Saxon Switzerland (Elbe Sandstone Mountains) and in close proximity to fantastic climbing rocks, adventurous hiking trails and beautiful nature. If you are looking for peace, you will find it in the large, sunny garden with plenty of space to relax. Wi-Fi is also provided. For families with children there is a large trampoline and seasonal fruit in the garden to pick yourself.

To the Rauenstein FW 1 (upper floor)

Welcome to our house with the charm of age and under the care of the goddess Demeter with her merry companions. Our house with 2 flats is located in a quiet area at the foot of the Rauenstein, directly on the Malerweg. In about 600 m, you can reach the Elbe Cycle Path, the ferry landing stage, the adventure pool and restaurants. A good starting point for hikes, bike rides, and for visiting castles, palaces and places of interest. The "Stadt Wehlen" S-Bahn station is approx. 500 m away.

In the house there is a fireplace for the cool days and in the garden you can barbecue or simply enjoy the great starry sky at night. There are plenty of climbing and hiking opportunities in the area. Please note that there is no Wi-Fi in the cottage.
