The most magical Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at! Rostrata Country House is an absolute gem – incredibly clean, beautifully maintained, and full of history and heart. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, thoughtful touches like breakfast supplies, and an atmosphere that felt truly special. The home is like a living museum, filled with family treasures, yet cozy and peaceful. Even the shed outside is full of nostalgic charm! Sharon’s cottage in Avoca is pure magic. Beautifully designed with so much to explore, thoughtfully stocked, and the perfect retreat between exploring the Pyrenees. Every detail has been considered, from fresh linen sheets to a well-equipped kitchen with coffee, bread, marshmallows, hot chocolates, soft fluffy towels and big soft comfy couches. The outdoor spaces were just as special - a firepit with plenty of wood, a charming pottery shed for a grazing platter, and an outdoor bath under a sky full of stars. We loved Sharon’s recommendation to visit the Avoca Races and had the best day, with her even helping us arrange a shuttle. Avoca itself is a gem, with a great pub, a fantastic kids’ park, and plenty to explore. Sharon, thank you for an unforgettable stay, we’ll absolutely be back!

Cosy Cottage was just that, and more!! The house was lovely with charm and the gardens well cared for. Inside was a delight, a full kitchen with all the utensils, cutlery and crockery you could ask for. The air con in the lounge and main bedrooms was appreciated by us and our dog, especially as we had a couple of warm nights. Definitely caters for pets, with pet towels provided and fenced yard. The view out the kitchen window of the bush behind the property was wonderful, made us feel not hemmed in. A walk in the bush was fantastic with lots of birds singing away. Highly recommend Deb's place at Cosy Cottage for a bush getaway, while still in close proximity to shops, cafes, pubs and even the Avoca Market which was on during our stay.

Great semi isolated location with small interesting town with all requirements within 4 kms. The place is beautifully peaceful and restful. Ideal for us.
