Ediel and his wife were very attentive, they allowed us to leave our luggage before check-in. The place is very beautiful . Since you read you feel peace, quiet . It was very relaxing to be in a cabin at the foot of the lagoon . I must also highlight how impressive the surroundings are, the landscape is very beautiful . I hope to come back and be able to stay more days to enjoy that great experience again. I highly recommend it 10/10.

Lovely apartment close to town centre and lagoon. Free parking if you have a car. Lovely pool. The apartment was very clean, well supplied and hosts were very responsive.

Everything was amazing about the listing and the host nothing to say. go for it! Just regarding the welcome we were dissatisfied, they offered us to boat on the lake, we accepted, the appointment was at 12:30 pm we waited until 12.45 pm still nothing, we went to the reception, we were patient to finally tell us that there will be no boat, no reason, exit canceled and wasted day. On the listing though, no complaints.

I had the pleasure of staying at this incredible property right on the lagoon in Bacalar with 7 of my friends, and it exceeded all our expectations! The house was spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained with plenty of room for all of us to relax. The hosts were absolutely wonderful, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We arrived to find our grocery request stocked and the hosts were very communicate during the entire process of booking, organizing and checking in. Pablo and Celeste came to the property most days (at our request) and were incredibly helpful, providing delicious meals and assisting with any needs. Having Pablo and Celeste there made our stay even more enjoyable! The location was unbeatable, right on the lagoon, with a stunning pool to enjoy day and night. It truly felt like a paradise, and I couldn’t recommend this place more for anyone looking for a serene getaway. Thank you for an unforgettable stay! I can't wait to go back!

Janice and Larry were wonderful hosts. Always willing to answer our questions but also very respectful of our privacy. Mermaid Manor was clean with a spacious outdoor space, good kitchen and a firm, comfortable mattress (always a nice bonus for me!) You'll have no regrets booking this gem.

The house is in a very great location. You have your own private lagoon area. Shops and restaurants are 10-15 minutes away. The fact that kayaks are available is a plus. Ms. Claudia is a great host, met us at the property and showed us the ins and outs. I would definitely recommend this house for your next stay at Bacalar.

One of the places I liked most to my expectations. If they want to hang out well with their peers or with themselves, this is a good place. I highly recommend it
