You have full access to both cabins: the main house hosts the peaceful queen bedroom, bunk room, loft, main bathroom & shower (no tub), kitchen and dining room. The smaller separate cottage hosts the relaxing king bedroom, private bath, and laundry. If you have small children, please be aware that our property has some steep slopes. The main house contains a master queen bedroom with private french doors onto the deck, a bunkroom to sleep 3, a vaulted greatroom with huge stone fireplace, comfy kitchen with all the modern amenities, a stone sunroom with dining room and reading nook, double vanity bathroom with sunken shower, and a loft retreat for 65" 4K TV and games! A guest house (included in your reservation) right behind contains a master king bedroom, private bath, and laundry room...and a charming porch swing overlooking the river. Family adventures, romantic getaways, meditative retreats. Envision walking through the woods up behind the cabin, maybe even finding the hidden gazebo! The large deck makes for a great space to sit and look at the scenic hills and water just below. Imagine the cows mooing and the reclusive bald eagle flying overhead. The mountains are just what you need! In the winter, we recommend a 4WD vehicle to get up the driveway in case of snow! Once you're all settled in, you can begin planning your adventures in the High Country...from shopping excursions in quaint Blowing Rock to epic hikes on the Appalachian Trail to zip-lining and ropes courses. From fine dining to fly fishing to river tubing to snow skiing, the choices are endless. Or just throw some logs on the fire, light up the grill, and hole up in your own luxurious retreat where all you can hear is the geese landing on the river and the cows mooing in the meadow. It's a magical place, and we'd love to share it with you! The area is full of beautiful hiking on the Appalachian Trail, exciting zip-lining and ropes courses, and relaxing fly-fishing spots and river tubing. The Bitterroot Barn is unique small structure with a queen size bed, two twin size beds in the loft. Built by Gary from the show "Mountain Men" on History Channel, it has a Full bath, kitchenette, Roku TV, Wifi, and a Bluetooth Surround Soundbar. There is a gas fire pit, small grill on the porch. If you are looking to experience what a nice tiny home feels like, we highly recommend visiting the Bitterroot Barn. We are less than 7 minutes from downtown Boone.

Adventure awaits at Big Valley. Newly constructed timber framed style log home/ cabin. Situated on 108 acres. We invite guest to explore the many walking/hiking trails. At least 7 ridgetop knolls with fantastic mountain views. We offer a fishing on site at the pond located just across the road from the cabin. So much to explore and do on this fantastic property. *We prefer you be at least 21 years of age before booking this property.

The A-Frame on Blueberry Hill can comfortably sleep 8 guests. You will love the huge deck and the large hot tub. The property sits on 5 acres made up of rolling hills, 2 small ponds & of course its namesake; a Blueberry orchard. In addition to the king & queen bedrooms, there is an upstairs loft area with a queen bed adjacent to the bathroom, as well as a recently renovated basement with a set of bunk beds and an additional queen bed.
