Jølster offers beautiful nature and good fishing opportunities in Jølstervannet, which is known as a very good fishing lake. There is great hiking terrain here with marked hiking trails. From the cabin, it is a short distance to a shop, a golf course and Jølster ski centre. Jølster offers cultural experiences, local handicrafts and an art museum. From the cabin, Tindefjelle and Steinegga are within walking distance.

The old house at Solnes Farm

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents received the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from around 1950. We live in the other part of the house. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join in the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life as we are in full employment and have four small children.
