Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Sunnfjord

Wow! What a wonderful place, with beautiful view and wonderful host, Gives you the true authentic Norwegian cabin experience. Ívar the host is spectacular with a great eye for details. I have never encountered a host that gives you so much, you get the pease you need but feel taken care of. Trust me, staying there was a dream construe and will 100% return. Than you so much for this experience

The Flekke Birdbox is an extraordinary place, it’s more beautiful than the pictures suggest, offering a spectacular view from its 350m elevation, showcasing the ocean and distant mountain peaks. The remote location provides total seclusion, making us feel like the only ones for miles. Nearby hiking opportunities abound, with a network of gravel roads/trails for easy walks. The enormous windows allowed us to stargaze from bed, even seeing the Northern Lights. The host was responsive, suggesting a nearby hike of 2-3 hrs with a lovely lake and a fire pit. The Birdbox impressed with its details, including lights and a motion light in the bathroom. The outdoor cooking area had a hob, utensils, and a covered space with chairs, a table, and a bålpanne. Watching the sunset by the fire before retiring to a comfy bed with blankets and a heater made it true glamping. This place is a gem, and we will be back. See you next time. Lisa, Trevor, and Baylor

Très belle cabane, bien équipée. Confortable et chaleureuse. Au bord d'une belle rivière. Nous avons fait un petit feu dans le poele et passé une très bonne soirée. Merete est une très bonne hôte qui nous a donné des instructions claires et utiles.

Wer es kuschelig, ruhig und die Natur genauso mag wie wir und nicht auf großen Schnick Schnack steht, der ist hier absolut richtig. Wunderschöne Wanderung zur Hütte, atemberaubende Badewanne mitten im Wald, ein kuscheliges Feuerchen im Ofen- selbst bei Regen haben wir es sehr genossen. Perfekter Ort für Naturliebhaber 🫶

Mooie rustige locatie direct aan het meer. We waren er met drie kinderen en hadden erg veel ruimte. We hebben erg genoten van het meer waarin we konden zwemmen, vissen en bootje varen. Margunn en Olav waren erg behulpzaam met raad en daad. Aanbevelenswaardig!

Die Unterhaltungen mit Maria waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Die Lage war top zum Wandern und die Natur Unglaublich. Die Hütte hat ein etwas rustikaleres Ambiente, also nichts für Leute die eine Menge Luxus suchen. Für mich und meine Reisegruppe aber Top! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und gerne die Abende am Lagerfeuer ausklingen lassen.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad! Echt even terug in de tijd. Je kan heel mooi wandelen in de omgeving en in de avond opwarmen bij de houtkachel.

We stayed at Ulrik and Susanne’s place for a month, working remotely. It was a great retreat into nature: quiet, slow paced, and with an amazing view over the fjord from the living room. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area with our dog when the weather was good as much as cocooning by a wood fire when it rained. The area is just stunningly beautiful in any season! Ulrik, Susanne, and Ulrik’s parents were wonderful hosts: responsive, welcoming, accommodating and just allround fun to get to meet (and their border collie Sara is super friendly as well :)). We would very happily visit again!
