The cabin is 120 sqm and was completed in the spring of 2020. The cabin is of very high quality with "Madsstova" from before 1850 - originally from Jølster. The cabin has 2 fireplaces, laundry room and sauna. At the cabin there is a covered patio and boat and canoe can be provided, but must be booked separately. To fish in the water you have to buy a fishing license. The cabin is located by Viksdalsvatnet/Hestadfjorden and in a great hiking area. Further up the valley you come to Gaularfjellet and over to Sogn. In the opposite direction is Førde with 13,000 inhabitants

From the cabin it is a short distance to the shop, golf course and Jølster ski center. Jølster can offer cultural experiences, local crafts, art museum. From the cabin it is walking distance to Tindefjelle and Steinegga.

Grønlund Hytter is located by the spectacular Sognefjord in Balestrand, 20 km from the city center. There are 3 cabins in total and they are right by the water. All 3 cabins are exactly the same and they are fully equipped. Each cabin has 4 bedrooms. 1st floor of 70 m2 includes kitchen, living room, 1 bedroom, bathroom, sauna, hallway and washing room. 2nd floor of 50 m2 includes 3 bedrooms and WC. In front of the cabin there is a big veranda of 30 m2 facing the water. Perfect for families.
