“Wonderful quiet place. Roomy, yet cozy. The billiard table and theater room was a great bonus to have. It rained the majority of the time, so having indoor activities was a huge plus. This place is very well kept and clean. The host is very quick to respond to any questions we had. I would recommend this place and will likely return.”
Newly renovated two bedroom, two bath cottage with four person barrel sauna at Swinging Bridge Reservoir, Sullivan County's largest motorboat lake. Updated amenities and mid-century and modern furniture provide a welcome respite from the city just 90 miles away. Take in the local scenery, catch a show at the Forestburgh Playhouse or stop into some of the local vineyards and restaurants. For a low key weekend, hang out by the fireplace playing some records and cooking a meal.
“Sean’s place was immaculate, chic, and the perfect getaway for a weekend. The sauna is a unique bonus. Highly recommend for 2-4 people, have a home cooked meal, put on some jazz, and rejuvenate to the trees, sun, and sauna! Sean is also a great host; super accommodating and responsive. I would love to come back and stay again.”
We are close to art and culture (Bethel Woods Center for the Arts; original home of *Woodstock*), parks, and quaint neighboring towns (White Lake, Narrowsburg, Callicoon, Jeffersonville, Livingston Manor, Delaware river and more). You’ll love my place because of the scenic location, the ambiance, and the outdoors space. Good for couples, friends, solo adventurers, and families. Located on a 9-mile motorboat lake- Swinging Bridge Reservoir. Kayak, paddle boards and fishing rods available!
“We had a lovely long weekend at Chris's place. Location is right across the street from a beautiful lake with lake access from a dock. Can swim, kayak, fish, paddle board from the dock which is equipped with a ladder so you can easily get in and out of the water. The apartment is exactly as advertised with sleeping for six, a fully equipped kitchen with pots and pans and some basics--salt, pepper, coffee, etc. Bring your own aluminum foil and baggies. We forgot and had no way to bring leftovers home. The living room and dining room both offer beautiful views of the lake and we watched the sunset both nights of our stay from the dock. Beautiful!! Chris was a lovely hostess and was accessible by phone and lives right across the street. All in all a lovely stay.”
