"Agape" means "my home" in the local dialect. Please relax as if you were at home. The entire unit is reserved for one group to ensure privacy. There is a main house (Japanese-style room) next door, separated by an outer wall, where one more group can stay. If there are 4 or more people, we recommend booking both the Western-style room and the Japanese-style room. Prices vary depending on the number of people. Please be sure to let us know the exact number of guests staying in the unit. Supermarket (A-COOP Kinan Kumano Kodo Chikatsuyu), bus stop (Kodo Aruki-no-Sato Chikatsuyu), restaurant (Shoji Teahouse), and drive-in (Kodo Aruki-no-Sato Chikatsuyu) are within a 30-second walk, about 500 m to a gas station, and about 5-6 minutes on foot from Kumano Kodo and Kirei Oji. The owner is a local Kumano Kodo guide, so he is familiar with walking tours, local attractions, and information, so please let me know if you need anything. We will do our best to accommodate you, such as pick-up and drop-off when you need it. Basically, it is a room only, but we can also arrange meals. I have lived in Iga Ueno for a few years. Growing up in a residential area, living in a castle town was a new experience for me. This land with its old-fashioned townscape and famous water is hot in summer and cold in winter. But that's why the rice, vegetables, and meat are also delicious. There are many areas where nature remains, but few areas where the old townscape remains intact. I want to preserve this townscape. To that end, I want many people to experience a nostalgic way of life and culture. As such a place, we renovated a row house left by our ancestors and opened it as the Daiji, a soy sauce shop that had closed. You are always welcome! This converted farmhouse is located in Kawakami Village, the source of the Yoshino/Kino river. This guest house is located in Nigishima-cho, Kumano City, Mie Prefecture. Nigishima-cho is located in the southern part of Mie prefecture, and you can enjoy the beautiful azure seascape called Kumano Blue. Enjoy the view of the calm sea of the port town from your room and relax and enjoy the atmosphere of a nostalgic port town on Nigishima. Kumano City is located on the prefectural border with Wakayama Prefecture, and is the best place to drive around Wakayama and Mie's famous places.

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!

"Genki House", a house near Kumano Hongu-Taisha

It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. You'll have some loaves of bread from our bakery(^^)/ （If you don't eat bread please let me know beforehand)

Our guesthouse is located in the old town called Nara-machi. There used to be many traditional wooden townhouses known as Machiya. We restored Machiya while keeping the original structure in order to provide you with a traditional Japanese experience with local atmosphere.This house is for only private use and has only one floor with Japanese style room, shower room, washroom, sink and small garden.
