Dar Naima - Birds & Breakfast

We really loved our stay at Laurent's. It was great having the outside roof garden to relax in, it's a beautiful peaceful space. There's a small tiled kitchen to prepare food in and a kettle for hot drinks. We really appreciated the delicious breakfasts in the morning, and Laurent was very generous with his time, sharing his passion for Taroudant with us. He recommended a trip to the oasis at Tiout which we visited, and it was one of the highlights of our time in Morocco. He also recommended the Complexe el Kasbah restaurant, and the view of the High Atlas mountains in the evening sun, with swifts circling amongst the palm trees is one of my most special memories of our stay there. I don't think you could find a more interesting and interested airbnb host, and the insights we learnt about the Moroccan people and culture really enriched our trip. Thank you Laurent!!

Apartment in the heart of the souk and the old mellah

The flat was clean, spacious and well equipped, everything worked well. I was able to dry clothes on the roof terrace. Local people in the neighbourhood were helpful and friendly, as was the family in the flat above.

Near Medina - Very easy access

No frills authentic very clean Morrocan apartment just a short walk from the old city walls. Worked just fine for us but it's not for someone who wants all the mod cons. Abderrahim is very friendly and helpful. Good value for money with very good WiFi.

Charming apartment with pool, cottage seven

BobRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We arrived at Riad el-Aissi at the end of a long day’s travel from London via Agadir. Greeted by Latifa, its charming, generous and capable owner we found ourselves immediately transported to a magical setting which brought to mind The Thousand and One Nights. The handsome, well-furnished apartments overlook beautiful tiled courtyards perfumed by the scent of orange and lemon trees, some in bloom, some laden with fruit and these give onto a splendid walled pool area with views of the Atlas mountains in the distance. It was the perfect spot in which to unwind in our stay of several days. The staff are discreet, quietly efficient and keep the premises immaculate; and Tyson, a large, warm and guest-friendly Rotweiler oversees the entrance at night. If you plan to stay several days and are not past the eligible age for car rental, as I am, hiring a car to travel back and forth to shop in the souks and explore Taroudant itself will give you extra flexibility. Five stars all around!!!
