Wow! The listing does not do Nibble Nook justice! This place is incredible. Extremely comfortable with lots of thought and care put into providing all you will need. Sandra is a very generous host that goes that extra mile to ensure guests feel welcome. The outdoor bath was great! Would definitely recommend & would most definitely return if I come back to NZ.

The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was a nice size. The kitchenette was good and had a nice variety of dishes and utensils. WiFi worked pretty well. Large living room space. Downsides were that the AC and heat unit did not work, and when we messaged the host on Airbnb and via text they never responded. After looking up how to reset the unit ourselves and buying new batteries we got it working. I am not sure if the hosts had a family emergency for those 30 hours or what, but they never responded to my messages saying we had fixed it either. So if there had been some difficulty with check in or a more major issue with plumbing or something else, I am not sure we would’ve been able to get ahold of them. Also the pillows are overdue for a replacement, very clumpy in some places and flat in others. Other than that, everything else was good!

We came in the soft lap of afternoon, dusty from Hobbiton, past lovely green rolling hills breathing under a wide, forgiving sky. The house waited — cozy and sure behind the gate, its beautiful gardens spilling colour and quiet into the day. A dog trotted out to meet us, as if he'd been waiting all along. Inside, light pooled in the corners, the walls carrying stories of warmth, welcome, and careful hands. The rain had brushed the first day clean, and by the last, the sun rose bright and certain, casting light across the fields, painting the day with warmth. We slept with the hills still turning in our dreams, and woke to a place already folded into memory. Thanks for a lovely stay.
